Description
FUNCTIONSAL SHOES FOR A PATIENT HAVING AN
ARTHRITIS
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients, and more particularly to a functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients, which comprises an upper(lθ) having elasticity and resilience, an inclined outer sole(20) whose side edge portions are inclined, and the dual air-bag(30) disclosed in Korean Utility Model No. 20-0371483, held by the present applicant, the functional shoe having advantageous effects of being capable of promoting the circulation of energy and blood in the human body by restoring the posture of a wearer, which is deformed by degenerative disease, to his or her original basic posture, and preventing and eliminating symptoms of bowlegs and degenerative arthritis by balancing a wear's body by leveling the pressure applied to parts of a wearer's foot and keeping the sole of the wearer's foot inclining at a predetermined angle when a wearer walks, which is flexional movement, which fixes and strengthens muscles and ligaments, which are one type of connective tissue of a joint. Background Art
[2] Shoes are necessities in the lives of modern people, and recently research and development has been conducted to improve the solidity, ease of use, and appearance of shoes. Since human beings started to walk erect, they have walked such that the sole of the foot is parallel to the surface of the ground when the foot is in contact with the surface of the ground, but the front part thereof is not oriented toward the walking direction but angled outward from the walking axis by 45 degrees when the foot is separated from the surface of the ground. That is, people such as degenerative arthritis patients develop out-toed gaits.
[3] At this time, the sole of the foot is inclined toward the little toe, so that a person loses his or her balance. The out- toed gait deviates from the normal angle (130 degrees) of a hip joint and tilts the femoral region forward, thereby making the femoral region abducent and making a leg bowlegged. The out-toed gait of a degenerative arthritis patient becomes the primary cause of decreased walking height, and it also shortens the femoral muscle, psoas, abdominal muscle and pectoral muscle. If the walking height of a person is decreased, vertical and horizontal loads acting on a pelvis are out of balance, and the backbone is gradually pressed, so that the joints of the backbone become wrenched and the human body becomes asymmetrical. The wrenched backbone causes nerves that branch off from the spinal cord, which is the central nervous column in the backbone, to be disordered, and thus it causes nerve disorders in all organs, resulting in functional disorder. The disorder of nerves branching off the backbone becomes the cause of disorder of a plurality of organs and physiology, such as respiration and digestion.
[4] That is, the out-toed gait of a degenerative arthritis patient decreases mobility and movement range, and decreases the movement ranges on the transverse axis, anteroposterior axis and longitudinal axis, and the two basic functions of legs (support and movement) are not smoothly conducted. Since the limit of mobility of the hip joint partially blunts the movement of the lumbar, and thus causes paralysis of the peroneus longus of the leg and directly or indirectly affects the flexion of the ankle, the ankle is easily sprained. Further, since it increases only the arch of the outer axis of the foot, the health of the foot and ankle may be ill-affected. As a result, the posture of a person is changed in a way such that the femoral region is moved forward, the pelvis is tilted backward, it is difficult to maintain correct vertebral curvature, and the sacroiliac ilium of the pelvis becomes unstable, resulting in abnormal curvature of the vertebrae. This causes a severe disorder in some cases.
[5] Further, if foot pressure is not horizontal, physiological problems occur in all joints of the human body, and overall structural deformation is caused. As a result, diseases occur and the aging of the human body is accelerated. Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem
[6] In order to solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients comprising an upper(lθ) having elasticity and resilience, an inclined outer sole(20) having side edge portions which are inclined, and the dual air-bag(30) disclosed in Korean Utility Model No. 20-0371483, held by the present applicant. The functional shoe promotes the circulation of energy and blood in the human body by restoring the posture of a wearer, which is deformed by degenerative disease, to his or her original basic posture, and prevents and eliminates symptoms of bowlegs and degenerative arthritis by balancing a wearer's body by leveling the pressure applied to parts of the bottom of a wearer's foot and keeping the sole of a wearer's foot inclining at a predetermined angle when a wearer walks, which is flexional movement (natural movement accompanying walking) which fixes and strengthens the muscles and ligaments, which are one type of connective tissue of a joint. Technical Solution
[7] In order to achieve the above objects and advantageous effects, according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients comprising an upper(lθ) having elasticity and resilience, an inclined outer sole(20) having side edge portions which are inclined, and a dual air-bag(30) disclosed in Korean Utility Model No. 20-0371483, held by the present applicant, the functional shoe having advantageous effects of promoting circulation of energy and blood in a human body by restoring posture of a wearer, which is deformed by degenerative disease to his or her original basic posture, and preventing and eliminating symptoms of bowlegs and degenerative arthritis by balancing a wearer's body by leveling the pressure applied to the bottom of a wearer's foot and keeping the sole of a wearer's foot inclining at a predetermined angle when a wearer walks which is flexional movement (natural movement accompanying walking) which fixes and strengthens muscles and ligaments, which are one type of connective tissue.
Advantageous Effects
[8] The functional shoe according to the present invention has the advantageous effects of promoting circulation of energy and blood in a human body by restoring posture of a wearer, which is deformed by degenerative disease to his or her original basic posture, and preventing and eliminating symptoms of bowlegs and degenerative arthritis by balancing a wearer's body, which is achieved by maintaining an angle of the sole of a wearer's foot when a wearer walks, which is flexional movement (natural movement accompanying walking) which fixes and strengthens muscles and ligaments, which are one type of connective tissue. Brief Description of the Drawings
[9] FIG. 1 is a side plan view illustrating a functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients according to one embodiment of the present invention;
[10] FIG. 2 is a view illustrating a dual air-bag of the functional shoe according to one embodiment of the present invention;
[11] FIG. 3 is a rear plant view illustrating the functional shoe according to one embodiment of the present invention; and
[12] FIG. 4 is a bottom plant view illustrating the functional shoe according to one embodiment of the present invention. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[13] A functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[14] FIG. 1 is a side plan view illustrating the functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[15] The functional shoe includes an upper, an inner sole, a middle sole, and an outer sole, the upper(lθ) is made of an elastic and resilient material, and the bottom of the outer sole(20) has an inclined side edge portion.
[16] The inclination degree of the side edge portion of the bottom of the outer sole(20) may be selected from the range from 0.5 to 10 degrees, and the inclination degree can be adjusted by inserting prosthetic devices inside the outer sole or removing the prosthetic devices from the outer sole (See FIG. 3).
[17] Further, after a plurality of functional shoes for degenerative arthritis patients, which have a variety of inclination degrees, is first manufactured, they can then be modified or deformed to meet the degree of inclination of the wearer's feet, as detected through an X-ray scanning method, before the wearer wears the shoes.
[18] Still further, it is also possible to adjust the inclination degree of the bottom surface of the functional shoe by inserting or removing prosthetic devices into or from the inner sole (dual air-bag(30)). That is, the inclination degree of the functional can be adjusted in the inner sole, the middle sole and/or the outer sole.
[19] Here, the entire bottom surface of the outer sole(20) is not inclined to match the tendency of the body to incline, but rather the inclination starts from a spot 2/3 of the way from the inside edge to the outside edge of the rear end of the heel and ends at the front end of the inside edge of the outer sole (See FIG. 4). Alternatively, the inclination may start from a spot 2/3 of the way from the outside edge to the inside edge of the rear end of the heel and end at the front end of the outside edge of the outer sole. For this reason, such a functional shoe is adequate for degenerative arthritis patients, whose knee joints are bent inwards.
[20] Since the above-described functional shoe(lOO) for degenerative arthritis patients includes the dual air-bag(30) disclosed in Korean Utility Model No. 20-0371483, held by the present applicant, it is possible to maximize the effects of prevention and elimination of symptoms of bowlegs and degenerative arthritis by balancing a wearer's body (See FIG. 2). Further, since the functional shoe(lOO) has acupressure protrusions on the air-bag of the heel, the air-bag of the arch, and the air-bag of the toes, it is possible to keep the bottom of the wearer's foot from slipping and to provide a massage effect due to the weight pressure exerted in a vertical direction when a user walks (See FIG. 2).
[21] Although the functional shoe for degenerative arthritis patients according to the present invention has been described with reference to embodiments, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various medications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
