Description

BACKUP SYSTEM OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a backup system, and more particularly, to a backup system of a mobile communication terminal for monitoring update information.
Description of the Related Art
Up until only some time ago, a mobile communication terminal was a device used only for calling or for exchanging messages. Data stored in a memory installed in the mobile communication terminal includes only execute files containing driver programs for controlling a system, data relating to the execute files, a telephone directory, an address list, short- sentence messages, and the like. However, recently, as wireless communication technology is developed, transmission speed of data is remarkably increased and a service network for the wireless data communication is built so that a user can use the multi-media contents service such as bell sound, MP3 files, various games, and the like. Moreover, recently, as a camera phone is popularized, the memory installed in the mobile terminal stores a great deal of data such as moving pictures, MP3 files, still image files, games, and the like. However, since the memory in the mobile terminal has a limit in capacity, when the user of the mobile terminal wishes to store a new file, he/she must delete important text messages, still images, MP3 files, or the like that the user wants to keep. For example, when a multi-media data downloaded with fee is required to download again, the user must pay fee to buy the same again.
Meanwhile, as a solution to solve the problem, there is a conventional method of performing backup of data stored in the mobile terminal and restoring the backup data by connecting the mobile terminal to a personal computer. However, in order to use this method, the user must have a data communication cable for connecting the mobile terminal to the personal computer, and must connect to a web server managed by the mobile communication company to install a program for restoring the backup data stored in the personal computer from the mobile terminal.
As such, when data stored in the exiting mobile terminal must be transferred to other device for several reasons such that the data stored in the terminal is broken or a new mobile terminal is required, the user inputs the exiting data one by one for the restoration of the data. Otherwise, the user must buy the communication cable to store the data using the communication cable as described above. However, the communication cable must be bought. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a backup service system for monitoring update information using a mobile communication terminal in which the mobile communication terminal monitors newly stored information or changed information to transmit the monitored backup information to a web server and classifies the transmitted information according to users and/or kinds of the transmitted information to store the information without performing additional backup process to store the backup information in the web server.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a backup service system for monitoring update information using a mobile communication terminal in which stored backup information is restored into a user's mobile communication terminal in response to a request from the user or information of changing the user' s mobile communication terminal that is transmitted from a mobile communication network system.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a backup service system for monitoring update information using a mobile communication terminal, in which, whether backup information is stored in a memory of the mobile communication terminal or is changed is monitored and the backup information is transmitted to a web server.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Hereinafter, the preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description of the present invention, if the detailed description of the already known structure and operation may confuse the subject matter of the present invention, the detailed description thereof will be omitted.
FIG. 1 is a conceptual view illustrating a backup service system according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the drawing, the backup service system 100 according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a mobile communication terminal 200 for monitoring whether information is stored or changed in a memory of the mobile communication terminal and for transmitting backup information, a backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 for receiving the backup information transmitted from the mobile communication terminal 200 via wireless Internet, a web server 120 for classifying the received backup information according to users and/or kinds and for restoring the backup information in response to a request from a user or terminal changing information transmitted from a mobile communication network system, and a database server 130 for storing the classified backup information to corresponding databases. Hereinafter, the mobile communication terminal 200 according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described. The backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 receives the backup information such as text messages, whose sharing is determined and that are transmitted from the mobile communication terminal 200, addresses, phone numbers, schedule list, image data, multi- media data, and the like, and transmits the received backup information to the web server 120 described later. Moreover, the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 transmits the backup information received from the web server 120 to the mobile communication terminal 200. In other words, the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 is a switching device for providing a communication channel between a mobile communication network and Internet, in plain language. The backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 receives and transmits data to and from the mobile communication terminal 200 through wireless application protocol (WAP) and to and from the web server 120 through the Internet, so that the mobile communication terminal 200 can be connected to the Internet through the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 to transmit and receive data to and from the web server 120.
Generally, as a typical one of communication protocols for the wireless Internet, there is the WAP as a wireless application protocol, which is a standard of communication protocols for standardizing a method used for Internet access such as electronic mail, a web, and the like of a wireless device such as a cellular phone, a radio pager, and the like. A WAP gateway is a switching device for providing a communication channel between the mobile communication network and the Internet, which converts a WAP service request received from the mobile communication terminal into a web service request (HTTP request) for the web service on the Internet, and transmits the converted HTTP request to the web server on the Internet. The web server on the Internet interprets the HTTP request, performs a correct processing for the HTTP request, and transmits the result as a response to the WAP gateway. The WAP gateway converts the received HTTP response into a WAP response for the wireless Internet and transmits the converted WAP response to the mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal for supporting the above-mentioned WAP is connected to the Internet through the WAP gateway to receive and transmit data.
The web server 120 is connected to the mobile communication network, receives the backup information from the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110, and classifies the received backup information according to users and/or kinds to transmit the classified backup information to the database server 130 that is described later. The web server 120 compares header information of the backup information with user information stored in the database server 130 to identify a user. At this time, the web server 120, for example, compares identification information (phone number, electronic serial number of a terminal, and the like) of the mobile communication terminal 200, contained in the header information of the received backup information, with the user information stored in a user information database 131, that is described later, to identify a user. Thus, when the backup of new information and/or changed information to the web server 120 will be performed, the user can store the backup information to the web server 120 without additional backup process such as the log-in process.
Moreover, the web server 120 determines whether the received backup information is allowed to be shared with other user by the user by analyzing the received backup information after the identification of the user, and transmits the received backup information to the database server 130. The web server 120 classifies at least one backup information, that is classified by users and/or kinds and stored in the database server 130, according to the identification (according to users or kinds) and creates one processed information file.
In more detail, the web server 120 classifies the backup information stored in the database server 130 according to the identification, creates a processed information file, and transmits the same to the database server 130 such that the database server 130 stores the original backup information and the processed information file together. Thus, the user connects to the web server 120 through the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 to inquire and download the backup information through the Internet. When the processed information file is created using the backup information stored in the database server 130, the web server 120, as shown in FIG. 2, creates the processed information file to contain the corresponding backup information, a change of sharing, shift of high-order backup information to low-order backup information or vice versa, and the like and transmits the processed information file to the database server 130.
Moreover, the web server 120, for example as shown in FIG. 3, creates the processed information files in order of backup date by classifying the backup information according to users and converts the processed information files into list type files to provide the same to a user, or as shown in FIG. 4, creates the processed information files by classifying the backup information according to users and kinds and converts the processed information files into list type files to provide the same to a user. Thus, a user of the mobile communication terminal 200 connects to the web server 120 through the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 to select desired backup information and to inquire and/or download the corresponding backup information with reference to a list of the processed information files provided by the web server 120 for accessing the database server 130 through the Internet.
On the other hand, according to the user' s request or the terminal change information of the mobile communication terminal 200 transmitted from the mobile communication network system, the web server 120 restores the backup information stored in the database server 130 to the mobile communication terminal 200 or the changed mobile communication terminal, wherein the web server 120 transmits a short message for the restoration using the WAP through the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 and the mobile communication terminal 200 or the changed mobile communication terminal responds to the transmission so that the transmission of the backup information is started. In more detail, for example, when the mobile communication terminal 200 is initiated after repair of malfunction, the user connects to the web server 120 and requests the restoration of the backup information, and the web server 120 receives the terminal change information of the mobile communication terminal from the mobile communication network system, for example, when the user changes a user' s phone number or buys a new mobile communication terminal. Generally, unique information of the mobile communication terminal must be registered for the communication with the network, wherein items used for the registration are an electronic serial number (ESN) , a mobile identification number (MIN) , an internal mobile station identification (IMSI), and the like.
Thus, for example, when the user buys a new mobile communication terminal, the mobile communication network system transmits the terminal change information of the mobile communication terminal containing the ESN, MIN, and the like to the web server 120, and the web server 120 receives the restoration request from the user or the terminal change information of the mobile communication terminal transmitted from the mobile communication network system to identify the user. In other words, when the user connects to the web server 120 and requests the restoration, the web server 120, as described above, compares the identification information of the mobile communication terminal 200 (ESN, MIN, and the like) with the user information to identify the user. After that, the web server 120 analyses the backup information of the user stored in the database server 130 and transmits a short message, for example, ΛWould you like to restore backup information?' to the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110.
Moreover, for example, when the terminal change information of the mobile communication terminal, newly bought by the user, is transmitted from the mobile communication network system, the web server 120 identifies the user by comparing the identification information of the former mobile communication terminal contained in the terminal change information with the user information stored in the user information database 131. After that, the web server 130 analyses the corresponding backup information of the user stored in the database server 130 with reference to the change ESN, MIN, and the like and transmits the short message for the restoration to the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110.
Meanwhile, the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 transmits the short message for the restoration to the mobile communication terminal 200 or the changed mobile communication terminal through the WAP. In the embodiment of the present invention, the web server 120 starts the restoration of the backup information only when the mobile communication terminal 200 or the changed mobile communication terminal responds to the restoration message due to the user's choice, while the web server 120 provides a restoration menu for restoring whole backup information when the response to the restoration message is transmitted or for restoring only user' s desired backup information by selecting the backup information according to the backup date and/or kinds through the Internet. Thus, the user can restore whole backup information with reference to the restoration menu displayed on the mobile communication terminal 200 or the changed mobile communication terminal, can select the backup information according to the backup data and/or kinds, and can restore only desired backup information. On the other hand, in another embodiment of the present invention, the web server 120 does not provide the restoration menu to the user through the Internet when the response to the restoration message is received from the mobile communication terminal 200 or the changed mobile communication terminal, but transmits the backup information according to storage information set by the user (hereinafter, referred to as ^restoration setting information' ) . In more detail, when the user of the mobile communication terminal 200 connects to the web server 120 and sets to restore whole stored backup information or to restore the backup information to a personal computer for the restoration of the backup information, the web server 120 transmits the restoration setting information to the database server 130, and the database server 130 updates the restoring setting information of the user information stored in the user information database 131 and stores the updated user information.
Thus, when the response to the restoration message is transmitted from the mobile communication terminal 200 or the changed mobile communication terminal, the web server 120 does not provide the restoration menu to the user through the Internet, but starts to restore the backup information to the mobile communication terminal 200 and the user's personal computer according to the restoration setting information stored the user information database 131 so that the user can set the backup information during the restoration of the backup information.
On the other hand, the web server 120 accesses sharing database list stored in a sharing information database 133 and provides the same to the user so that the user can change sharing of the stored backup information as needed. The sharing database list means a list containing contents of the respective information stored in the sharing information database 133 and information about identifications, authorities, and the like of users allowed to share the backup information.
The user connects to the web server 120 authorizes IDs of users who want sharing according to a sharing setting menu, and the sharing backup information transmitted from the mobile communication terminal 200 is basically used by- only the users authorized by the user. However, when changing the sharing setting, the user can set IDs or groups of the users to share the backup information with reference to the sharing database list provided the web server 120, and can give authorization for deleting, reading, and writing of the respective backup information. Meanwhile, when the user changes the existing setting by adding an ID of additional user authorized to share, the web server 120 transmits the changed information to the database server 130, and the database server 130 updates and stores the sharing database list stored in the sharing information database 133 with reference to the changed information.
The database server 130 includes a plurality of databases and stores the backup information distinguished according to the users and/or kind by the web server 120, wherein information shared with other users and personal information unshared with other users are stored in the corresponding databases according to the setting by the user.
Moreover, the database server 130, as described above, stores the processed information files transmitted from the web server 120 together with the original backup information files in the corresponding database. In other words, the database server 130 stores the original backup information that is classified according to users and/or kinds by the web server 120 to the corresponding database, and stores the original backup information and the processed information file by updating the database in which the original backup information is stored when the web server 120 transmits the processed information file with respect to the backup information.
In addition, the database server 130, as described above, updates the restoration setting information into the corresponding user information stored in the user information database 131 and stores the same when the web server 120 transmits the restoration setting information, and updates and stores the sharing database list stored in the sharing information database 133 when the web server 120 transmits information about the changed sharing setting.
In more detail, the database server 130 includes the user information database 131, a personal information database 132, and the sharing information database 133.
In the user information database 131, a user's personal information such as a name, a phone number, an e- mail address and the restoration setting information such as IP address of a user's personal computer are stored. Additionally, since the backup information classified according to users by the web server 120 may be stored together with the user's information and the restoration setting information in the user information database 131, the database server 130 does not need to include an additional database for storing the backup information classified according to users by the web server 120. The personal information database 132 stores personal information prohibited from being shared by the web server 120, receives and stores the backup information classified according to kinds by the web server 120 in the corresponding database among plural databases according to kinds of the backup information as shown in FIG. 5. FIG. 5 is a view illustrating configuration of the personal information database according to the present invention. As shown in the drawing, the personal information database 132 provided in the database server 130 includes, for example, a plurality of databases such as a text message database 132a, a phone number database 132b, an address database 123c, a schedule database 132d, an image database 132e, and a multi-media database 132f.
The text message database 132a stores contents, a title, receipt date, and transmission date of a short message service (SMS) , the phone number database 132b stores a name, a phone number of a mobile communication terminal, a home phone number, a facsimile number, and the like of the other party, and the address database 123c stores a name, an office address, a home address, and the like of the other party. Moreover, the schedule database 132d stores data such as schedule data inputted by the user, the image database 132e stores a still photograph taken by the user, a background image, and the like, and the multi-media database 132f stores data such as a motion picture, a sound source, a game, and the like.
The sharing information database 133 stores the backup information authorized to be shared, and includes plural databases such as a text message database, a multi-media database, and the like, similar to the personal information database 132. Moreover, the sharing information database 133, as described above, a sharing database list containing IDs, authorities, and the like of users authorized to share the backup information together with the contents of the respective backup information stored in the respective databases.
Hereinafter, the backup service according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 6 is a flowchart illustrating the backup service according to the embodiment of the present invention.
Firstly, when the mobile communication terminal 200 detecting information stored in the mobile communication terminal due to the input by the user transmits the backup information through the WAP (Sl) , the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 receives the backup information and transmits the received backup information to the web server 120 through the Internet (S2) .
The web server 120 receives the backup information from the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 and compares the identification information of the mobile communication terminal (phone number, electronic serial number of the terminal, and the like) with the user information stored in the user information database 131 to identify the user of the mobile communication terminal 200 who transmitted the backup information (S3) . After that, the web server 120 analyzes the backup information to determine whether the received backup information is set to share by the user of the mobile communication terminal 200, classifies the received backup information according to users and/or kinds (S4), and transmits the classified backup information to the database server 130 (S5) , and the database server 130, receives the backup information that is classified according to users and/or kinds, and stores the backup information in the corresponding databases (S6) .
On the other hand, the web server 120 classifies at least one backup information, which is classified according to users and/or kinds and stored in the database server 130, according to identifiers (users or kinds) to create one processed information file (S7) . In more detail, the web server 120 classifies the backup information stored in the database server 130 according to the identifiers to create the processed information file and transmits the processed information file to the database server 130 (S8) so that the database server 130 stores the original backup information together with the processed information file.
In other words, the database server 130 stores the processed information file transmitted from the web server 120 together with the original backup information file in the corresponding databases (S9) . In plain words, the database server 130 stores the original backup information, classified according to users and/or kinds by the web server 120, in the corresponding database, updates the database for storing the original backup information and stores the original backup information together with the processed information file when the web server 120 transmits the processed information file with respect to the backup information.
Thus, the user of the mobile communication terminal 200 connects to the web server 120 through the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 to select desired backup information by referring to the list of the processed information files provided through the Internet by which web server 120 accesses the database server 120 and to search and/or download the corresponding backup information. On the other hand, the backup service according to the embodiment of the present invention includes restoring the stored backup information, to the mobile communication terminal 200, according to the user's request, or the changed information of the mobile communication terminal 200, transmitted from the mobile communication network system.
In more detail, the web server 120, as described above, identifies the user according terminal changing information containing information such as the ESN, MIN, and the like, transmitted from the mobile communication network system when the user requests to restore or buys a new terminal. In other words, when the user buys a new terminal and the mobile communication network system transmits the terminal changing information, the web server 120 identifies the user by comparing the user information stored in the user information database 131 with the unchanged identification information of the mobile communication terminal contained in the terminal changing information. After that, the web server 120 analyzes the backup information of the user stored in the database server 130 and transmits the short message for the restoration such as ΛWould you like to restore the backup information?' by referring to the information such as changed ESN, MIN, and the like to the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110. The backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 transmits the short message for the restoration to the changed mobile communication terminal through the WAP.
On the other hand, the web server 120 starts to restore the backup information only when the response to the short message for the restoration is transmitted from the mobile communication terminal 200 and provides a restoration menu through the Internet when receiving the response to the restoration message, such that the user of the mobile communication terminal 200 can restore all backup information or only desired backup information by selecting the backup information according to backup date and/or kinds. Thus, the user of the mobile communication terminal 200 can restore all backup information when restoring the backup information or only desired backup information by selecting the backup information according to backup date and/or kinds to the mobile communication terminal 200. Meanwhile, according to still another embodiment of the present invention, when the response to the restoration message is transmitted, as described above, the web server 120 does not provide the restoration menu to the user, but starts to restore the backup information according to the restoration setting information of the user stored in the user information database 131 so that the user can select the backup information to be restored during the restoration of the backup information.
The backup service of a mobile communication terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention provides a sharing database list to the user so that the user can set the sharing of the backup information. In other words, when the user wishes to change the sharing setting of the stored backup information, the web server 120 accesses the sharing information database list containing information such as IDs, authorities, and the like of the users authorized to share the backup information together with the contents of the respective backup information stored in the sharing information database 133 and provides the same to the user through the Internet according to the user's request to change the sharing setting. Thus, the user refers to the sharing information database list displayed on the mobile communication terminal 200 and can change the ID of the user authorized to share and the authority such as deleting, reading, writing, and the like of the backup information.
FIG. 7 is a block diagram illustrating the mobile communication terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the drawing, the mobile communication terminal 200 according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a keypad 210 for receiving a manipulation command from the user, a display 220 for displaying a menu for the backup and restoration, a wireless communication unit 230 for transmitting and receiving the backup information, a memory 240 for storing information to be stored and changed by the input of the user, a memory monitoring unit 250 for monitoring whether the information is stored or changed in the memory 240, and a controller 260 including a backup processor 263 for analyzing and processing the information stored in the memory 240 according to a signal inputted from the memory monitoring unit 250, and a restoration processor 266 for analyzing and processing the backup information to be restored through the wireless communication unit 230.
The keypad 210, like a usual mobile communication terminal, includes a plurality of key buttons such as a plurality of numeric keys, a call button, an end button, and the like.
The display 220 may be implemented by a small-sized display such as a liquid crystal display (LCD) , and displays operation of the mobile communication terminal 200, a phone number and a text message that are inputted by the user through the keypad 210, and the like. Additionally, the display 220 displays a menu required for the backup and the restoration, and displays various menus provided by the web server 120 through the Internet as described above.
The wireless communication unit 230 transmits and receives data to and from the web server 120 through the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 using the WAP, transmits the backup information to be stored to the memory 240 to the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110, and receives the backup information and the short message for the restoration that are transmitted through the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 during the restoration of the backup information.
The memory 240 may be, for example, a read-and- writable flash memory, stores a driving program of the mobile communication terminal 200, information such as the text message inputted by the user, addresses, phone numbers, schedule, image data, multi-media data, and the like, and an application for the backup.
The memory monitoring unit 250 may be a hardware device for detecting new information or changed information to be stored in the memory 240 according to the input by the user, or an application installed in the memory to automatically detect the new or changed information to be stored in the memory 240.
Generally, the memory 240 includes a plurality of control pins such as a power source pin Vcc, a ground pin GND, a select pin Select, and the like, and a data pin, and the memory monitoring unit 250 according to the embodiment of the present invention may be a hardware device connected to a write pin to detect a storing command signal when the storing command signal is inputted from the controller 260 to the write pin through a data bus and to output a predetermined signal to the backup processor 263 described later.
Moreover, a usual memory reads data stored in the memory when a Read signal is inputted from the controller and stores data in the memory when a Write signal is inputted. The reading and writing may be processed through only one line according to memory type. In this memory, the pin, denoted as R/W, allows data to be written from the memory when a logical value of the pin is High and allows data to be stored to the memory when the logical value thereof is Low. Thus, the memory monitoring unit 250 according to still another embodiment of the present invention may be implemented by an application for detecting the logical value when the logical value of the R/W pin provided in the memory 240 is Low and for informing the detected result to the backup processor 263.
Thus, when the user stores new information such as a text message, addresses, phone numbers, schedule, image data, and multi-media data to the memory 240 or changes the information stored in the memory 240 to store the changed information in the memory 240 again, the memory monitoring unit 250 detects these and informs the backup processor 263 described later that there is new information and/or changed information. The controller 260 controls overall mobile communication terminal 200 and includes the backup processor 263 and the restoration processor 266 as described above.
When the backup processor 263 receives a predetermined signal outputted from the memory monitoring unit 250, the backup processor 263 detects that there are new information and/or changed information in the memory 240 at the present, drives the application for the backup stored in the memory 240, and controls the display 220 to display the menu for the backup created by the application. In other words, the backup processor 263 drives the application for the backup information stored in the memory 240 when the new information or the changed information is stored in the memory 240 according to the user's input, and the display 220 displays a message λWould you like backup information to be stored now in the web server as sharing information?' and a backup menu such as λΥo allow sharing is No. 1, Not-shared personal information is No. 2, and Not want sharing is No. 3' .
Thus, the user refers to the backup message and the backup menu, that are displayed on the display 220 by the application for the backup, and determines to perform the backup of information, to be stored in the memory 240 of the mobile communication terminal 200, to the web server 120, and whether the backup of the information, to be stored in the memory 240 of the mobile communication terminal 200, is processed to the web server 120, and whether the information to be stored in the web server 120, by the backup process, is shared. Moreover, the backup processor 263 processes the backup information, which has been determined whether is shared or not by the choice of the user, so that it is in a proper predetermined format and outputs the processed backup information to the wireless communication unit 230, so that the user can store the information to the web server 120 by the backup process without performing the backup process, if, whether the sharing of the backup information is set, when the backup of the new information and/or the changed information to the web server 120 is performed.
The restoration processor 266 analyzes the header information contained in the backup information received from the backup information transmitting and receiving server 110 through the WAP to determine which kind of data the corresponding backup information is and to store the same in the memory 240. Moreover, the restoration processor 266 makes the short message for the restoration that is transmitted from the web server 120 through the wireless communication unit 230 be displayed on the display 220. Additionally, the restoration processor 266, makes the restoration menu, that is provided by the web server 120 according to the response to the short message for the restoration, be displayed on the display 220, so that the user can restore all backup information by referring to the restoration menu provided by the web server 120, and can restore the backup information by selecting the backup information according to data and/or kinds. As described above, according to the backup service system using a mobile communication terminal for detecting update information of the present invention, the mobile communication terminal, which has detected new information and changed information, transmits the backup information to the web server, and the web server stores the transmitted backup information to the corresponding databases by classifying the backup information according to users and/or kinds, so that the user can store the backup information to the web server without performing the backup process whenever storing the new information and the changed information to the mobile communication terminal.
Moreover, the backup service system using a mobile communication terminal, for detecting update information of the present invention, transmits the backup information, which is stored according to the user' s request or the terminal changing information transmitted from the mobile communication network system, in response to the restoration setting information, so that the backup information can be easily restored when the mobile communication terminal is repaired due to malfunction and is initiated or the terminal is changed.
In addition, the backup service system using a mobile communication terminal for detecting update information of the present invention monitors whether the information in the memory of the terminal is stored or changed and automatically transmits backup information to the web server, so that the user conveniently performs the backup of the information stored in the mobile communication terminal to the web server without additional backup processes. Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
