Abstract

The invention describes a tube heat exchanger for heating fresh air by means of heated discharge air. The discharge air is to be conducted through a plurality of tubes of a tube bundle, and the fresh air is to be conducted around the outside of the tubes through a supply air duct which accommodates the tube bundle. In order to facilitate cleaning of the tubes and of the space around the tubes, according to the invention, the tubes of the tube bundle are inserted in a detachable fashion with their longitudinal ends into holes of in each case one perforated plate, which perforated plates form wall parts of a space which is closed off with the exception of a supply air inlet and a supply air outlet.

Description

The invention relates to a tube heat exchanger for heating fresh air to heated exhaust air, wherein the exhaust air is to be passed through a plurality of tubes of a tube bundle and the outside fresh air around the tubes by a supply air channel receiving the tube bundle. Preferably, the tube heat exchanger is provided for heat recovery on a textile equipment machine, in particular on a tenter, in which a textile fabric web is spread and transverse tension continuously passed through a heated treatment room. The invention further relates to a method for operating the tube heat exchanger.
The heated exhaust air, which can be discharged from a plant, generally contains dirt particles, which - depending on the quality - more or less quickly attach to the inner walls of the tubes of the tube bundle, so that the heat transfer between the exhaust air flowing inside the pipes and the Outside the pipes flowing fresh air is gradually getting worse. In extreme cases, the exhaust pipes can even clog. The fresh air, which is generally sucked in from the environment of the respective system, may contain dust, which settles in the supply air duct of the heat exchanger on the outside around the pipes to be flowed through by the exhaust air. Optionally, the heat transfer between the exhaust air and the fresh air is also gradually deteriorated thereby. Therefore, tube heat exchangers - depending on the type of exhaust air and the dirt contained therein - cleaned at predetermined intervals.
A cleaning device for flues of heat exchangers is described in EP 09 67 452 A2. In the known a cleaning element is provided, which is inserted into the exhaust pipes. In this way, the individual tubes can be mechanically cleaned one after the other. DE 23 34244 B2 and WO 02/059538 A1 disclose similar devices, the plastering of the exhaust pipes However, it is done in a hydrodynamic way. The known cleaning methods require the use of a complicated technique, their application is laborious, a separate cleaning of the supply air duct is not mentioned.
The invention has for its object to provide a tube heat exchanger, due to its own design, without consuming pipe cleaning systems both the inside of the pipes and the supply air duct around the exhaust pipes around, so their fresh air side to run in a simple manner and without major breaks in the overall machine allowed.
The solution according to the invention is specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. The solution is for the heat exchanger mentioned above, in which the exhaust air through a plurality of tubes of a tube bundle and the fresh air outside around the pipes to be passed through a pipe or bundle receiving supply air duct, preferably in that the tubes of the respective tube bundle with their longitudinal ends are releasably inserted into holes each a perforated plate, which form wall parts of a closed except for a Zulufteinlaß and -auslaß the Zuluftkanals space. According to another invention, the tube bundle is installed together with the perforated plates in total releasably in the supply air duct. The supply air duct can be formed substantially like a cuboid, which has an opening for inserting or pulling out a tube bundle and is equipped with inlet and outlet openings for exhaust air and supply air. Some improvements and further developments of the invention are given in the subclaims.
By the invention it is achieved that the respective pipes to be cleaned of the tube bundle or even whole tube bundles for cleaning purposes to be removed from the supply air duct of the heat exchanger and fed to a cleaning system in which the plastering can be done without interference by surrounding the heat exchanger machine parts. A particular advantage of the invention is that to use during the cleaning of individual tubes or tube bundles replacement tubes or tube bundles in the heat exchanger are so that the operation of the heat exchanger is practically not interrupted. In this way, not only the heat exchanger can continue to run substantially continuously, the cleaning system can work in continuous operation; It can even be assigned to several heat exchangers.
In the tube heat exchanger according to the invention, the exhaust air pressure within the tubes should preferably be set smaller than the supply air pressure in the supply air duct surrounding the tubes. At the beginning of the operation of a newly inserted pipe or tube bundle (polluted) exhaust air can pass through the remaining at the seat of the pipes or tube bundles columns in the fresh air flow, this (undesired) connection but after a short period of operation by the exhaust air pollution, which to a Self-sealing of the mentioned columns leads, interrupted.
Also, the supply air duct can be kept clean or clean according to the invention. After pulling out one or more tubes from a tube bundle or a whole tube bundle itself, the space around the tubes around, so the supply air duct in which accumulates dust over time, in the simplest way, for example with the help of a vacuum cleaner to be cleaned.
Details of the invention will be explained with reference to the schematic representation of an embodiment.
