Abstract

A system for chemical determinations includes a plasma chamber configured to receive a medium containing spatially separated molecules, a gas source and energy source couple to the plasma chamber. A method includes producing a plasma for activating the spatially separated molecules in the plasma chamber to emit detectable electromagnetic radiation. The system further includes a device for detecting the detectable electromagnetic radiation.
