If the intention is to use adhesive or a similar substance between the bottom plate and the cover plate, no cavities are necessary on the rear surface of the bottom plate, because the gripping means can be on the side plate of the bottom plate.

- the centre hole of the bottom plate preferably functions as a hole for a fastener. It is also possible that the bottom plate has no centre hole in in ⁇ stallations where the only purpose of the cover plate is to cover the mounting hole.

Flexibility of the gripping means can be achieved, for example, by an arrangement in which the entire gripping means are flexible in the direction of the bottom plate's height - that is, no separate section more flexible than the others has been arranged in the gripping means.
- the gripping means may be formed, for example, of a strip of material having even thickness, one side of which will provide a grip surface, or the end of which has been bevelled to provide a grip surface. However, a particular flexible section within the gripping means is preferred. In other words, there are many alternatives for the design of the gripping means. If the design of the gripping means is suitably matched to the body of the bottom plate, no separate cavities will be required for the gripping means. However, cavities are preferred in terms of manufacturing technique. It is also preferred that the grip surface is splined.
