Abstract

The invention relates to a circuit arrangement (1) for controlling a step-up switching regulator or a blocking oscillator (10) which comprises a controllable semiconductor switch element (11) whose gate terminal can be impinged upon by a control circuit (20) with a control signal generated by said control circuit. The circuit arrangement is provided with a signal generation circuit (30) coupled with the control circuit (20), which influences the control signal generated by the control circuit (20) in such a manner that the semiconductor switch element (11) of the blocking oscillator (10) is switched when there is no voltage applied to its load path. For this purpose, the signal generation circuit (30) is directly connected to the semiconductor switch element (11).
