チヤッキング装置 技術分野
本発明は、 CDや DVDなどのディスク状の記録媒体への記録、 または再生を行うディ スク装置に関し、 特に外部からディスクを直接挿入し、 まだは直接排出できる、 いわゆる スロットイン方式のディスク装置に適したチヤッキング装置に関する。 背景技術
従来のディスク装置は、 卜レイまたはターンテーブル上にディスクを載置し、 この卜レ ィゅターンテーブルを装置本体内に装着する口一ディング方式が多く採用されている。 しかし、 このような口一デイング方式では、 卜レイやターンテーブルが必要な分、 ディ スク装置本体を薄型化するには限度がある。
—方、 スロットイン方式のディスク装置としては、 ディスク面に搬送ローラを当接させ てディスクを引き込 方式が提案されている(例えぱ特許文献 1 )。

特開平了一 220353号公報 しかし、 例えば特許文献 1で提案されているようなスロッ卜イン方式では、 ディスク直 径より長い搬送口一ラを用いるために、 装置幅を広くしなければならず、 さらにこの搬送 ローラによって厚みも増してしまう。
従って、 このようなスロッ卜イン方式のディスク装置では、 ディスク装置本体の薄型化 ゆ小型化を図ることは困難である。
そこで本発明は、 薄型化と小型化を図ることができるチヤッキング装置を提供すること を目的とする。
特に本発明は、 ディスクがディスク装置に挿入されていないスタンバイ状態における、 ターンテーブル上方のディスク挿入のだめの高さスペースを小さくすることに着目して、 ディスク装置の薄型化を図ることができるチヤッキング装置を提供することを目的とする。 発明の開示
本発明の第 1の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置は、 ターンテーブルのハブ本体の径 方向に、 複数の爪本体を移動可能に設け、 爪本体でディスク中心孔部を押さえてディスク を保持するチヤッキング装置であって、 爪本体をハプ本体に対して外方へ付勢する弾性部 材を設け、 爪本体は、 ディスクと接触する爪部と、 弾性部材による外方向への移動を規制 する爪側ストッパーとを有し、 ハプ本体は、 爪部が外方へ突出可能な爪用開口部と、 爪側 ストッノ \°一と当接する \ブ側ス卜ッノ \°—とを有し、 ディスクが爪部に保持されていないス タンバイ状態での爪部の位置を、 ディスクが爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態での爪 部の位置よりち低くし ものである。
本実施の形態によれば、 ディスクがディスク装置に挿入されていないスタンバイ状態に おける、 ターンテ一プル上方のディスク揷入のための高さスペースを小さくできるので、 ディスク装置の薄型化を図ることができる。
本発明の第 2の実施の形態は、 第 1の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 弾 性部材としてコイルばねを用い、 爪側ストッパ一と八ブ側ストッパーとの当接位置を、 コ ィルばねの中心線よりも下方に設けたちのである。
本実施の形態によれば、 ディスクが爪部に保持されていないスタンバイ状態において、 爪部の先端が下方に向くよ oにコィルぱねを付勢することができる。
本発明の第 3の実施の形態は、 第 2の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 爪 側ストッパーと八ブ側ス卜ツバ一との当接位置を、 爪部よりも内方に設けたものである。 本実施の形態によれば、 爪側ス卜ッパーとハブ側ストッパーとの当接位置を、 爪部より も内方に設けることで、 爪部より外方位置での障害物を無くし、 爪部を下方に +分に下げ ることができるとともに、 ディスクが爪部に保持されていないスタンバイ状態での爪部の 位置が、 ディスクが爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態での爪部の位置よりち先方にと び出る量を少なくすることができ、 ディスク挿入時の爪本体のハブ本体内への移動を容易 にでぎる。
本発明の第 4の実施の形態は、 第 2の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 爪 側ス卜ッ 1 \°一を、 爪部の側部に設けたちのである。
本実施の形態によれば、 爪側ス卜ッパ一を爪部の下方に設ける場合と比較して爪部の高 さを低くすることができる。
本発明の第 5の実施の形態は、 第 1の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 デ ィスクが爪部に保持されていないスタンパ'ィ状態での爪部の位置を、 八ブの上面の高さ以 下としたちのである。
本実施の形態によれば、 爪部の高さに依存することなく、 ターンテーブル上方のデイス ク挿入の めの高さスペースを小さくすることができる。
本発明の第 6の実施の形態は、 第 1の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 デ イスクが爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態での爪部の位置を、 ブの上面より高くし たちのである。
本実施の形態によれば、 ターンテーブル上方のディスク挿入のための高さスペースを小 さくしても、 ディスクの確実なチヤヅキングを行うことができる。
本発明の第 7の実施の形態は、 第 1の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 デ イスクが爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態で、 ディスクの厚さが薄い場合には、 ディ スクカ^!い場合と比較して、 爪部は外方に移動するとともに、 爪部の位置^低くなるもの である。
本実施の形態によれば、 ディスク厚さのばらつぎに対 して爪本体の/ \ブ本体の径方向 への移動ス卜ロークを大きくしても、 爪高さを低く抑えることができ、 ディスクがデイス ク装置に挿入されていないスタ、リ i 状態における、 タ一ンテーブル上方のデイスク挿入 のだめの高さスペースを小さくでき、ディスクが爪部に保持されている記録'再生状態で、 爪が、 保持されているディスクの上面から上方へ飛び出す高さを小さくできるので、 ディ スク装置の薄型化を図ることができる。
本発明の第 8の実施の形態は、 第 7の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 爪 本体の先方側に設けられだ上向ガイド面と、 上向ガイド面と対向する位置に設けられた、 ハブ本体の下向受面が、 先方側が低くなる傾きをもって設けられだちのである。
本実施の形態によれば、 爪本体のディスク押さえ面の長さを短くし、 爪高さを低く抑え ることができる。
本発明の第 9の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置は、 ターンテーブルのハブ本体の径 方向に、 複数の爪本体を移動可能に設け、 爪本体でディスク中心孔部を押さえてディスク を保持するチヤッキング装置であって、 爪本体をハブ本体に対して外方へ付勢する弾性部 材を設け、 爪本体は、 ディスクと接触する爪部と、 弾性部材による外方向への移動を規制 する爪側ス卜ッパーとを有し、 ハブ本体は、 爪部力外方へ突出可能な爪用開口部と、 爪側 ス卜ッパーと当接するハブ側ス卜ッパーとを有し、 爪本体の弾性材による外方向への移動 を規制する爪側ストッパーを、 ディスクが爪部に保持されていないスタンバイ状態での爪 本体の下端部の下部部品との接触部よりち、 先方側に設け、 爪側ス卜ヅパーと当接する八 ブ側ス卜ッノ \°一を、 下側が先方側に寄った傾斜面としだものである。
本実施の形態によれば、 スタンバイ状態での爪本体の先端部を下げることができ、 ター ンテーブル上方のディスク揷入のだめの高さスペースを小さくすることができる。

本発明の第 1 1の実施の形態は、 第 7の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 弾性部材としてコイルばねを用い、 爪側ストッパーとハブ側ストッパーとの当接位置を、 コイルばねの中心線よりち下方に設けるとともに爪部よりも内方に設けたものである。 本実施の形態によれば、 爪部の先端が下方に向くようにコイルばねを付勢することがで きる。
本発明の第 1 2の実施の形態は、 第 1の実施の形態によるチヤッキング装置において、 爪本体の下端面を円弧状としたものである。

本発明の第 1 5の実施の形態のディスク装置は、 第 1から第 1 4の実施の形態のチヤッ キング装置を用い ディスク装置であって、 ベース本体と蓋体とからシャーシ外装を構成 し、 シャーシ外装のフロン卜面には、 ディスクを直接挿入するディスク揷入口を形成し、 ベース本体に設けたトラバースによってスピンドルモータとピックアップとを保持し、 ス ピンドルモータの上面にターンテーブルを備え、 卜ラバ一スをべ一ス本体に対して近接離 間させるちのである。

以下本発明の一実施例によるチヤッキング装置について説明する。
まず、 本実施例によるチヤッキング装置を構成するハプ本体について説明する。
図 1は本実施例によるチヤッキング装置のハブ本体の上面側斜視図、 図 2は同ハブ本体 の下面側斜視囡、 図 3は同ハブ本体の正面図、 図 4は同ハブ本体の背面図、 図 5は同ハブ 本体の側面図、 図 6は図 3における A— A断面図、 囡7は囡 3における B— B断面図であ る。
ターンテーブルのハブ本体 1 50は、 円盤状の上面 1 5 1と、 この上面 1 5 1の外周に 立設された側面 1 52により皿形に構成されている。 上面 1 5 1の中心部には、 スピンド ルモータの回転軸を嵌合させるモータ軸用孔 1 53が形成されている。
ハブ本体 1 50には、 3つの爪用開口部 1 54が放射状に設けられている。 これらの爪 用開口部 1 54は、 上面 1 5 1の外局から側面 1 52に至る範囲に設けられ、 上面 1 5 1 外周における上面開口幅よりち側面 1 52における側面開口幅が大きくなるように構成し ている。
ハブ本体 1 50の裏面側には、 モータ軸用孔 1 53を形成するリング状リブ 1 53Aの 外周に突出させた 3つのコイル止め 1 55を設けている。 これらコイル止め 1 55は、 爪 用開口部 1 54に向けて放射状に設けている。
また、 ハプ本体 1 50の裏面側には、 リング状リブ 1 53Aと側面 1 52とを連接する 複数の連接リブ" I 5 OAが設けられている。 そして一対の連接リブ 1 5 OAによって、 1 つのコイル止め 1 55と、 このコイル止め 1 55の軸線方向に位置する爪用開口部 1 54 とを含 空間を他空間から隔離するように、 爪本体 1了 0を配置する爪収容空間 1 50 B を形成している。
爪収容空間 1 50 Bを形成する一対の連接リブの対向する内周面には、 ! \プ側ス卜ツバ 一 1 56 Aと、 このハプ側ストッパー 1 56 Aの内方に、 当該ハブ本体 1 50の中心に向 かって徐々に高くなる傾斜面からなる内方側ガイド面 1 56を設けている。 この内方側ガ イド面 1 56は、 少なくとも第 "Iの傾斜面と第 2の傾斜面で構成されている。
一方、 側面 1 52における爪用開口部 1 54の両側部の上面には上向受面 1 57が形成 され、 上面 1 5 1における爪用開口部 1 54の両側部の下面には下向受面 1 58が形成さ れている。
次に、 本実施例によるチヤッキング装置を構成する爪本体について説明する。

爪本体 1了〇は、 爪部 1了1と、 この爪部 1 7 1の両側部に配置されたガイド部 1了2 によって構成されている。
爪部 1了1は、 ハブ本体 1 50に装着された場合に、 ハプ本体 1 50の最外周に位置す る先端部 1了 1 Aと、 この先端部 1 7 1 Aに連接し、 平坦面からなる上面 1 7 1 Bと、 先 端部 1 7 1 Aの下方向に連接し、 ディスク中心孔部と当接するディスク保持面 1了 1 0と によって構成される。なお、上面 1 7 1 Βの内方には、テ一パ一面 1了 1 Dを設けている。 爪部 1 7 1の内方には、 コイルばねを当接させる後端面 1了 3が構成され、 この後端面 1了 3には突起によって形成されるコイル止め 1了 5を備えている。 また後端面 1 73に おけるコイル止め 1 75の上部側周囲には窪み 1 73Αが形成されている。 コイルばねの 上部が当接する位置の後端面 1了 3に窪み 1 73Αを設けることで、 コイルばねの上部が 当接する面(窪み 1了 3Α) とコイルばねの下部が '当接する面(後端面 1 73) との角度 を異ならせている。
そして、 コイルばねの上部が後端面 1了 3の窪み 1了 3 Αに当接した状態で、 窪み 1 7 3 Aの面はコイルばねの中心線に垂直となる。
ガイド部 1 72の下端面 1了 4は円弧状に構成されている。 また、 ガイド部 1了 2の内 方には爪側ストッパ一 1了 6が側方に突出して設けられている。
ガイド部 1了 2の外方である爪部 1了 1の側部には、 爪部 1 7 1の先端部 1了 1 Aより 下方位置に下向ガイド面 1 7了と、 ディスク保持面 1了 1 Cより高い位置に上向ガイド面 1 78とを備えている。 なお、 爪本体 1了 0が八ブ本体 1 50に装着された状態では、 下 向ガイド面 1了 7は、 上向受面 1 5了と対向する位置に配置され、 爪部 1 70を上部から 押圧することにより、 下向ガイド面 1了了は上向受面 1 5了に沿って摺動する。 また、 爪 本体 1了〇が八ブ本体 1 50に装着された状態では、 上向ガイド面 1 78は、 下向受面 1 58と対向する位置に配置される。 また、 上向ガイド面 1 78の外方端部を、 当該上向ガ イド面 1 78よりも高くしている。 また、 下向ガイド面 1 77は、 少なくとも第 1の傾斜 面と第 2の傾斜面で構成している。
次に、 図 1 5から図 20を用いて本実施例によるチヤッキング装置について、 更に詳細 な構成とチヤッキング動作について説明する。
図 1 5は、 スタンバイ状態又はディスクが'ディスク装置内に挿入され 直後の伏態を示 す同チヤッキング装置の要部断面図である。 八ブ本体 1 5〇は、スピンドル ΐータ 3 1 Αの上面の中心部に設けられている。そして、 爪本体 1 70は、 ハブ本体 1 50とスピンドルモータ 3 1 Aのロータ一側の受け面 3 1 B との間に配置される。
ハブ本体 1 50のコイル止め 1 55と爪本体 1了 0のコイル止め 1了 5との間には、 弾 性部材としてコイルばね 1 80が設けられている。 すなわち、 爪本体 1 70は、 このコィ ルばね 1 80によって、 ハブ本体 1 50の外方に付勢されている。 コイルばね 1 80は、 コイル止め 1了 5側の外方端部を、 コイル止め 1 55側の内方端部よりも下方に位置する よ oに設けてし、る。
また、 爪本体 1了〇が外方に飛び出さないように、 爪側ス卜ヅパー 1了 6をハブ側スト ッパ一 1 56 Aに当接させている。 ここで、 爪側ス卜ッパ一 1 76とハブ側ストッパー 1 56Aとの当接位置を、 爪部 1了 1よりもハブ本体 1 5〇の内方であって、 コイルばね 1 80の中心線よりも下方としている。
図 1 5に示すような、 ディスクがディスク装置内に挿入され 直後の状態では、 ッメ本 体 1了 0の爪部 1了 1は、 八ブ 1 50の上面 1 5 1の高さ以下に配置されている。 ま 、 コイルばね 1 80の外方端部は、 上部が後端面 1了 3の窪み 1 73 Aに当接している。 な お、 ディスクが挿入されていないスタンバイ状態においても同様である。
図 1 6は、 図 1 5の状態から同チヤッキング装置をディスク側に所定距離上昇させた状 態を示す同チヤッキング装置の要部断面図である。
チヤッキング装置の上昇によって、 爪部 1了 1は、 上面 1 7 1 Bからディスクにより押 圧される。
このように、 爪部 1 7 1を上面 1了 1 Bから押圧することにより、 爪側ストッパー 1 7 6が内方側ガイド面 1 56に沿って摺動する。 すなわち、 爪側ストッパー 1 76は、 八ブ 本体 1 50の内方に向かって徐 に高くなるよろに摺動する。 一方、 この爪側ストッパー 1 76の動きとともに、下向ガイド面 1了 7は上向受面 1 57に沿って摺動する。従って、 爪本体 1 70は、 爪側ストッパー 1 76と下向ガイド面 1 7了の摺動によって、 ハブ本体 1 50の内方へ移動する。 なお、 爪部 1 7 1を上面 1 7 1 Bから押圧することにより、 コ ィルばね 1 80の外方端部の上部は、 後端面 1 73の窪み 1 73Aから離間し、 コイルば ね 1 80の外方端部の下部が後端面 1 73に当接する。
図 1 7は、 爪部の先端部がディスクの中心孔に揷入された状態を示す同チヤッキング装 置の要部断面図、 図 1 8は、 図 1了の状態から同チヤッキング装置をディスク側に所定距 離上昇させた状態を示す同チヤッキング装置の要部断面図、 図 1 9は、 図 1 8の状態から 所定時間経過後の状態を示す同チヤッキング装置の要部断面図である。
図 1了では、 爪部 1了 1の先端部 1 7 1 Aがディスクの中心孔に挿入され 伏態を示し ている。 そして、 図 1 7に示す状態から更に同チヤッキング装置をディスク側に上昇させ ると、 図 1 8に示すように、 爪部 1了 1の先端部 1 7 1 Aは、 ディスクの中心孔の内周面 に沿って摺動する。 本実施例では、 同チヤッキング装置の爪部 1 7 1とハブ本体 1 50と の相 S作用によるディスク側への上昇は、 図 1 8に示す位置までである。 図 1 8に示す位 置、 すなわち爪部 1了 1とハブ本体 1 50の相互関係によるディスク側への上昇の限界状 態では、 爪部 1 7 1の下向ガイド面 1了 7と八プ本体 1 50の上向ガイド面 1 57とが接 し、 爪部 1了 1の下端面 1了 4がロータ一側の受け面 3 1 Bに接し、 爪部 1了 1の先端部 1了 1 Aがディスク中心孔の内周面に接している。 コイルばね 1 80の付勢力ゆ爪部 1 7 1の先端部 1了 1 Aとディスクとの間の摩擦抵抗力の関係を適切に設定することで、 M 8の状態からは、 同チヤッキング装置を動作させることなく、 爪部 1了1の先端部 1了 1 Aはディスクの中心孔内壁面を摺動する。 図 1 8に示す位置以降の動作では、 爪部 1 7 1 の下向ガイド面 1了了はハブ本体 1 5〇の上向ガイド面 1 5了から離れる。 そして、 爪部 1了 1の先端部 1了 1 Aはディスク中心孔の内周面に接したままで、 先端部 1 7 1 Aが少 しずつディスク中心孔の内周面を上方に移動する。 一方、 爪部 1 7 1の下端面 1了 4は口 ータ一側の受け面 3 1 Bに接したままで、 下端面 1了 4と受け面 3 1 Bとの接触点は、 少 しずつ内方側に移動する。
ここで、 内方側ガイド面 1 56は、 前述のように少なくとも第 1の傾斜面と第 2の傾斜 面で構成されている。 第 1の傾斜面は、 爪部 1了 1が上部からディスクによって押圧され 時に、 爪部 1 7 1の先端部 1了 1 Aがディスクの中心孔部に挿入される時に又はディス クの中心孔部に挿入される手前までに爪側ス卜ッパー 1了 6が当接する面であり、 第 2の 傾斜面は、 爪部 1 7 1の先端部 1了 1 Aがディスクの中心孔部に挿入された後に爪側ス卜 ッパー 1了 6が当接する面である。 第 2の傾斜面を第 1の傾斜面よりも、 押圧方向に対す る角度を小さくしている。
—方、 下向ガイド面 1了了は、 前述のように少なくとも第 1の傾斜面と第 2の傾斜面で 構成されている。 第 1の傾斜面は、 爪部 1了 1の先端部 1 7 1 Aがディスクの中心孔部に 挿入される時に又はディスクの中心孔部に挿入される手前までに上向受面 1 57と当接す る面であり、 第 2の傾斜面は、 爪部 1了 1の先端部 1 7 1 Aがディスクの中心孔部に挿入 された後に上向受面 1 5了と当接する面である。 第 2の傾斜面を第 1の傾斜面よりも、 押 圧方向に対する角度を小さくしている。 そして例えば下向ガイド面 1 7了の第 1の傾斜面 を円弧面で構成し、 下向ガイド面 1 77の第 2の傾斜面を平坦面で構成する。
このように、 内方側ガイド面 1 56及び下向ガイド面 1了了を第 1の傾斜面と第 2の傾 斜面で構成することで、 特に図 1 8に示す状態からの、 爪部 1 7 1の先端部 1 7 1 Aとデ イスクの中心孔内壁面との摺動を安定して行わせることができる。
図 20は、 図 1 9の状態から所定時間経過後の状態を示す同チヤッキング装置の要部断 面図である。
図 20では、 爪部 1了 1の先端部 1 7 1 Aがディスクの上面を越えて突出し 7¾犬態であ り、 チヤッキングの完了を示し、 記録 ·再生状態となる。
チヤッキングの完了時では、 コイルばね 1 80の外方端部は、 上部が後端面 1 73の窪 み 1 73 Aに当接している。 ま^、 爪部 1了 1は、 ハブ本体 1 5〇の上面 1 5 1より高い 位置とする。 チヤッキング完了状態では、 爪部 1 7 1のディスク保持面 1 7 1 Cがデイス ク中心孔上端部に接し、 爪部 1 7 1の先端部 1 71 Aは、 ディスク中心孔よりも外周側に はみ出すとともにディスク上面より上方に飛び出す。 一方、 爪部 1了 1の上向きガイド面 1了 8は八ブの下向き受面 1 58に接し、 爪部 1了 1の下端面 1了 4はロータ一側の受け 面 3 1 Bに接している。
次に、 図 2 1から図 23を用いて厚さの異なるディスクのチヤッキング動作について説 明する。
図 2 1は、 薄いディスクのチヤッキング完了状態を示す同チヤッキング装置の要部断面 図、 図 22は、 中程度厚さのディスクのチヤッキング完了状態を示す同チヤッキング装置 の要部断面図、 囡23は、 厚いディスクのチヤッキング完了状態を示す同チヤッキング装 置の要部断面図である。
図 2 1に示すディスクの厚さが薄い場合には、 囡 22に示すディスクが中程度の場合と 比較して、 爪本体 1 70はハプ本体 1 50の外方に移動するとともに、 爪部 1了 1の先端 部 1 7 1 Aの位置が低くなる。 また、 図 22に示すディスクの厚さが中程度の場合には、 図 23に示すディスクが厚い場合と比較して、 爪本体 1了 0はハブ本体 1 50の外方に移 動するとともに、 爪部 1 7 1の先端部 1了 1 Aの位置が'低くなる。 このように本実施例に よれば、 ディスク厚さのばらつきに対 ¾して爪本体 1了 0のハプ本体 1 50の径方向への 移動ス卜ロークを大きくしても、 爪高さを低く抑えることができる。
以下本実施例によるチヤッキング装置を適用したディスク装置について説明する。 図 24は本実施例によるディスク装置のペース本体の要部平面図、 図 25は同ディスク 装置の要部側断面図、 囡26は同ディスク装置のサブスライダーの側面図である。
本実施例によるディスク装置は、 ベース本体と蓋体とからシャーシ外装が構成され、 こ のシャーシ外装のフロント面にベゼルが装着される。また本実施例によるディスク装置は、 ベゼルに設けたディスク揷入口からディスクを直接挿入するスロッ卜イン方式のディスク 装置である。
ベース本体 1 0のフロント側には、 ディスクを直接挿入するディスク挿入ロ1 1を形成 している。 ベース本体 1 0にはトラバース 30が配置されている。
トラバース 30は、 スピンドルモータ 3 1 Aと、 ピックアップ 32と、 ピックアップ 3 2を移動させる駆動手段 33とを保持している。 スピンドルモータ 3 1 Aの回転軸には、 ディスクを保持するハブ本体 1 50を備えている。 スピンドルモータ 3 1 Aはトラバース 30の一端側に設けられ、 またピックアップ 32は、 スタンバイ状態ゆチヤッキング状態 ではトラバース 30の他端側に配置される。 ピックアップ 32はトラバース 3〇の一端側 から他端側までを移動可能に設けられている。 駆動手段 3 3は、 駆動モータと、 ピックァ ップ 32を摺動させる一対のレールと、 駆動モータの駆動をピックアツプ 32に伝達する 歯車機構とを有し、一対のレールはトラバース 30の一端側と他端側とを連接するように、 ピックアップ 32の両側部に配置されている。 卜ラバース 30には、 スピンドルモータ 3 1 Aがベース本体 1 0の中央部に位置し、 ま たピックアップ 32の往復移動範囲がスピンドルモータ 3 1 Aよりもディスク挿入口 1 1 側に位置し、 まだピックアップ 32の往復移動方向がディスクの挿入方向と異なるよラに 配設されている。 ここで、 ピックアップ 32の往復移動方向とディスクの挿入方向とは、
40〜45度の角度としている。
卜ラバース 30は、 一対の固定カム 34A、 34 Bによってベース本体 1 0に支持され ている。 一対の固定カム 34A、 34 Bは、 スピンドルモータ 3 1 Aよりもピックアップ 32側に配設し、 ピックアップ 32のスタンバイ位置よりもディスク挿入ロ1 1側の 置 に配設することが好ましい。 本実施例では、 固定カム 34 Aはディスク挿入ロ1 1の内側 近傍の中央部に、固定カム 34 Bはディスク挿入口 1 1の内側近傍の一端側に設けている。 固定カム 34A、 34 Bは、 ディスクの挿入方向に延びる所定長さの^からなり、 この溝 のディスク挿入ロ1 1側の一端側端部は、 他端側端部よりもベース本体 1 0から第 1の Y 軸距離だけ離間させている。 卜ラバ一ス 30に設け カムピン 35 A、 35 Bは、 この固 定カム 34A、 34Bの溝内を摺動することで、 卜ラバ一ス 30をディスクの挿入排出方 向 (X軸方向) に変位させるとともに、 ベース本体 1 0に対して近接離間する方向 ( 軸 方向) に変位させることができる。
以下に、 この卜ラバ一ス 30を動作させるメインスライダー 40とサブスライダー 5〇 について説明する。
メインスライダー 40とサブスライダー 50とは、 スピンドルモータ 3 1 Aの側方に位 置するように配設されている。 メインスライダー 40は、 その一端がシャーシ本体 1 0の フロント面側、 その他端がシャーシ本体 1 0のリア面側となる方向に配設されている。 ま た、 サブスライダー 50は、 メインスライダー 40と直交する方向に配設されている。 卜ラバ一ス 30を変位させるカム機構は、 スライダーカム機構 5 1と昇降カ厶機構 52 によって構成され、 サブスライダー 50に設けられている。 スライダーカム機構 5 1は、 サブスライダー 50の移動方向に延びる所定長さの溝からなり、 この溝はその一端側(メ インスライダー 40側)端部から他端側端部にかけて、 ディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向 (X軸 方向) に段階的に近接させている。 トラバース 30に設けたスライドピン 53は、 このス ライダーカム機構 5 1の溝内を摺動することで、 卜ラバ一ス 30をディスクの挿入排出方 向 (X軸方向) に変位させることができる。 また、 昇降カム機構 52は、 サブスライダー
50の移動方向に延びる所定長さの溝からなり、 この溝はその一端側(メインスライ^^一 4〇側)端部から他端側端部にかけて、 ベース本体 1 0との距離(Z軸距離) を段階的に 変化させている。 トラバース 30に設けだ昇降ピン 54は、 この昇降カム機構 52の溝内 を摺動することで、 卜ラバ一ス 30をべ一ス本体 1 0に対して近接離間する方向 (Z軸方 向) に変位することができる。
メインスライダー 40の一端側には口一ディングモータ (図示せず)が配設されている。 そして、 この口一ディングモータの駆動軸とメインスライダー 40の一端側とは歯車機構 (図示せず) を介して連結されている。
このローデイングモータの駆動によってメインスライダー 40を長手方向(X軸方向) に摺動させることができる。 ま メインスライダー 40は、 カムレバ一了 0によってサブ スライダー 50と連結している。
カムレバ一了 0は回動支点了 1を有し、 ピン 72でメインスライダー 40に設けだカム 溝 41と係合し、 ピン 74でサブスライダー 5〇に設け カム溝と係合している。
このカムレバ一了 0は、 メインスライダー 4〇の移動に連動して、 サブスライダー 50 を移動させ、 サブスライダー 50の移動によってスライダーカム機構 5 1と昇降カム機構 52を動作させて卜ラ / ース 30を変位させる機能を有する。
なお、 トラバース 3〇は、 さらに一対の固定カム 36 A、 36 Bによってもベース本体 1 0に支持されている。 一対の固定カム 36 A、 36 Bは、 固定カム 34 A、 34 Bとサ ブスライダー 50との間に配設し、 固定カム 34A、 34 Bとサブスライダー 50との中 間位置に配設することが好ましい。 固定カム 36 A、 36 Bは、 固定カム 34 A、 34 B と同一の構成である所定長さの溝からなる。 トラバース 30に設けだカムピン 3了 A、 3 了 Bは、 この固定カム 36A、 36 Bの溝内を摺動することで、 トラバース 30をデイス クの挿入方向に変位させるとともに、 ベース本体 1 0と近接離間する方向に変位させるこ とがでぎる。
以上説明した、 トラバース 30、 固定カム 34A、 34 B、 36A、 36 B、 メインス ライダー 40、 サブスライダー 50、 及びローデイングモータは、 ベース本体 1 0に設け られ、 これらの部材と蓋体 1 30との間に、 ディスク挿入空間を形成する。
次に、 ディスクを支持するガイド部材と、 ディスクを動作させるレバ一部材について説 明する。
ベース本体 1 0のディスク挿入ロ1 1近傍の一端側には、 所定長さの第 1のディスクガ イド (図示せず)が設けられている。 この第 1のディスクガイドは、 ディスク挿入方向か ら見 断面が、 「コ」の字状の溝を有している。 この溝によってディスクは支持される。 一方、 ベース本体 1 0のディスク挿入ロ1 1近傍の他端側には、 弓 Iき込みレバ一 80が 設けられ、 この引き込みレバ一 80の可動側端部に第 2のディスクガイド 8 1を備えてい る。 第 2のディスクガイド 8 1は、 円筒状のローラで構成され、 引き込みレバ一 80の可 動側端部に回動自在に設けられている。 また、 第 2のディスクガイド 8 1のローラ外周に は溝が形成され、 この溝によってディスクは支持される。
弓 Iき込みレバ一 80は、 可動側端部が固定側端部よりもディスク挿入口 1 1側で動作す るように配置され、 固定側端部に回動支点 82を有している。 また、 引き込みレバー 8〇 の可動側端部と固定側端部との間には所定長さの第 3のディスクガイド 84が設けられて いる。 また、 引き込みレバ一8〇はピン 85を備え、 このピン 85がメインスライダー 4 0のカム溝 42を摺動することで引き込みレバー 80は動作する。 すなわち、 引き込みレ バ一80は、 メインスライダー 40の移動にともなって、 第 2のディスクガイド 8 1がス ピンドルモータ 3 1 Aに対して近接離間するように動作する。
ま 、 ベース本体 1 0には、 排出レバ一 1 00が設けられている。 この排出レバ一 1 0 0の一端側の可動側端部にはガイド 1 0 1が設けられている。 また、 排出レバ一 1 00の 他端側には、 回動支点 1 02が設けられている。 なお、 排出レバ一 1 0〇は、 ピン 1 03 とカム溝 43によってメインスライダ一 40の動きと連動して動作する。
また、 ベース本体 1 0の排出レバ一 1 00と対向する側には排出レバ一 1 1 0が設けら れている。 この排出レバ一 1 1 0の一端側の可動側端部にはガイド 1 1 1が設けられてい る。 また、 排出レバ一 1 1 0の他端側には、 回動支点 1 1 2が設けられている。 なお、 排 出レバ一 1 1 0は、 排出レバー 1 00の動きと同様に動作する。
—方、 ベース本体 1 0のリア側には固定ピン 1 20が設けられている。 この固定ピン 1 20によって、 ディスクのローディング時ゆチヤッキング時のディスクの位置規制を行つ ている。
図 25に示すように、シャーシ外装は、ベース本体 1 0と蓋体 1 30によって構成され、 蓋体 1 30の中央部には、 開口部 1 32が設けられている。 この開口部 1 32は、 デイス クの中心孔よりも大きな半径の円形開口である。 従って、 ディスクの中心孔に嵌合するス ピンドルモータ 3 1 Aのハブ本体 1 50よりも大きな開口である。
開口部 1 32の外周部には、 ベース本体 1 0側に突出させ 絞り部 1 33が形成されて いる。
以下に、図 24から図 38を用いて卜ラ;^—ス 30の動作メカニズムについて説明する。 図 24から図 26のカム機構とピンの位置はディスクのローデイング完了状態を示して し、る。
図 27はディスク装置のディスクのチヤヅキング動作スター卜から第 1の所定時間が経 過した状態を示すベース本体の要部平面図、 図 28は同状態における要部側断面図、 図 2 9は同状態におけるサブスライダーの側面図である。
そして、 図 30は図 2了の状態からさらに第 2の所定時間が経過しだ状態を示すベース 本体の要部平面図、 囡3 1は同状態における要部側断面図、 図 32は同状態におけるサブ スライダーの側面図である。
また、 囡33は図 30の状態からさらに第 3の所定時間が経過し、 卜ラバースの最上昇 状態を示すベース本体の要部平面図、 図 34は同状態における要部側断面図、 図 35は同 状態におけるサブスライダーの側面図である。
そして、 図 36は囡33の状態からさらに第 4の所定時間が経過し、 ディスクの記録再 生状態を示すベース本体の要部平面図、 図 3了は同状態における要部側断面図、 図 38は 同状態におけるサブスライダーの側面図である。
まず、 ディスクのローデイング完了状態では、 図 24から図 26に示すように、 卜ラバ —ス 30は、 最もリア側であって、 最もベース本体 1 0側に近接し 位置に配置されてい る。 すなわちこの状態においては、スライドピン 53は、スライドカム機構 5 1の一端側(メ インスライダ一 4〇側)端部に位置している。 従って、 トラバース 30は最もリア側に近 接した位置に配置されている。 また、 カムピン 35A、 35 Bは、 固定カム 34A、 34 Bの溝の他端側端部に位置している。 従って、 トラバース 30の他端側 (ピックアップ 3 2側) はベース本体 1 0に最も近接しだ位置に配置されている。 まだ、 昇降ピン 54は、 昇降カム機構 52の一端側 (メインスライダー 40側)端部に位置している。 従って、 卜 ラバース 30の一端側 (スピンドルモータ 3 1 A側) はベース本体 1 0に最も近接した位 置に配置されている。
図 24に示す状態からメインスライダー 40がディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向に移動し、 こ のメインスライダー 40の移動に伴ってサブスライダー 50がメインスライダー 40の方 向に移動する。
そして、 チヤッキング動作を第 1の所定時間行つだ状態では、 図 2了から図 29に示す ように、 トラバース 30は、 ディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向に第 1の X軸距離だけ移動すると ともに、 トラバース 30の他端側は、 ペース本体 1 0から第 1の丫軸距離だけ離間しだ位 置に配置される。
すなわちこの状態においては、 スライドビン 53は、 スライドカム機構 5 1を第 1の丫 軸距離だけ移動し、 卜ラバース 30はディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向に第 1の X軸距離だけ移 動する。 従って、 カムピン 35A、 35 Bは、 固定カム 34A、 34 Bの溝の一端側端部 の方向に第 1の X軸距離移動し、 トラバース 30の他端側 (ピックアップ 32側) は、 ベ ース本体 1 0から第 1の Z軸距離だけ離間し 位置に配置される。ま; £、昇降ピン 54は、 昇降カム機構 52の一端側 (メインスライダー 40側)端部から第 1の丫軸距離だけ移動 するが、 この第 1の丫軸距離の範囲にある溝は同一高さなので、 トラバース 3〇の一端側 (スピンドルモータ 3 1 Α側) はベース本体 1 0に最も近接した位置に保持される。 図 2了に示す状態から、 さらにメインスライダ一 40がディスク揷入ロ1 1の方向に移 動することで、 サブスライダー 50はさらにメインスライダー 40の方向に移動する。 そして、 図 2了に示す状態からさらにチヤッキング動作を第 2の所定時間行った状態で は、 図 30から図 32に示すように、 トラバース 30の他端髓ま、 ベース本体 1 0から第 2の Z軸距離(第 2の Z軸距離〉第 1の Z軸距離)だけ離間した位置に配置される。 すなわちこの状態においては、 スライドピン 53は、 スライドカム機構 5 1を第 2の Y 軸距離だけ移動するが、 この移動範囲ではスライドカム機構 5 1の溝は、 サブスライダー 50の移動方向(Y軸方向) と平行に設けているので、 卜ラバース 30はディスク挿入口 1 1の方向には移動しない。 従って、 カムピン 35 A、 35 Bも、 固定カム 34A、 34 Bの溝内を移動しない。 また、 昇降ピン 54は、 昇降カム機構 52の溝を第 2の Y軸距離 だけ移動し、 トラバース 30の一端側 (スピンドルモータ 3 1 A側) をベース本体 1 0か ら第 2の Z軸距離だけ移動させる。
図 30に示す状態から、 さらにメインスライダー 40がディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向に移 動することで、 サブスライダー 50はさらにメインスライダー 40の方向に移動する。 そして、 図 3〇に示す状態からさらにチヤッキング動作を第 3の所定時間行った状態で は、 図 33から図 35に示すように、 トラバース 30の他端側は、 ベース本体 1 0から最 も離間しだ第 3の Z軸距離に配置される。
すなわちこの状態においては、 スライドピン 53は、 スライドカ厶機構 5 1を第 3の Y 軸距離だけ移動するが、 この移動範囲ではスライドカム機構 5 1の溝は、 サブスライダー 50の移動方向(Y軸方向) と平行に設けているので、 卜ラバース 30はディスク揷入口 1 1の方向には移動しない。 従って、 カムピン 35A、 35 Bも、 固定カム 34A、 34 Bの溝内を移動しない。 ま 、 昇降ピン 54は、 昇降カム機構 52の溝を第 3の Y軸距離 だけ移動し、 卜ラ; ^—ス 30の一端側(スピンドルモータ 3 1 A側) をベース本体 1 0か ら第 3の Z軸距離(最上昇高さ) に移動させる。 この状態でハブ本体 1 50のディスクへ のチヤッキングが完了する。
図 33に示す状態から、 さらにメインスライダー 40がディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向に移 動することで、 サブスライダー 50はさらにメインスライダ一 40の方向に移動する。 そして、 図 36から図 38に示すように、 卜ラバース 30はディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向 に移動するとともに、 卜ラバ一ス 30の他端側は、 ベース本体 1 0に近接する方向に移動 し、 第 1の Z軸距離の位置に配置される。
すなわちこの状態においては、 スライドピン 53は、 スライドカム機構 5 1を第 4の丫 軸距離だけ移動し、 卜ラバース 30はディスク挿入ロ1 1の方向に第 2の X軸距離だけ移 動する。 従って、 カムピン 35A、 35 Bは、 固定カム 34A、 34 Bの溝の一端側端部 に向けて第 2の X軸距離だけ移動するが、 トラバース 30の他端側(ピックアップ 32側) 高さは変わらない。 また、 昇降ピン 54は、 昇降カム機構 52の溝を第 4の Y軸距離だけ 移動し、 卜ラバ一ス 30の一端側 (スピンドルモータ 3 1 A側) をべ一ス本体 1 0の方向 に移動させ第 1の Z軸距離の位置に配置させる。
以上の動作によって、 ディスクを蓋体 1 30から離間させるとともに、 固定ピン 1 20 からち離間させることで、 ディスクは再生記録状態となる。
まだ、 装着されたディスクの排出は、 ローデイングモータを駆動し、 メインスライダ一 40をその他端側の方向に移動することによって行われ、 基本的には上記の動作が逆に行 われる。
本発明によれば、 ディスク装置の薄型化と小型化を図ることができる。
特に本発明は、 ディスクがディスク装置に挿入されていないスタンバイ状態における、 ターンテーブル上方のディスク揷入のための高さスペースを小さくすることで、 ディスク 装置の薄型化を図ることができる。 産業上の利用可能性
本発明のチヤッキング装置は、 表示手段と入力手段と演算処理手段などを一体化した、 いわゆるノー卜型パソコン本体に内蔵、 または一体的にセッ卜されるディスク装置に有用 である。

Claims

請求の範囲
1 ターンテーブルのハブ本体の径方向に、 複数の爪本体を移動可能に設け、 前記爪 本体でディスク中心孔部を押さえてディスクを保持するチヤッキング装置であって、 前記爪本体を前記八ブ本体に対して外方へ付勢する弾性部材を設け、
前記爪本体は、 前記ディスクと接触する爪部と、 前記弾性部材による外方向への移動を親 制する爪側ストッパーとを有し、
前記ハプ本体は、 前記爪部が外方へ突出可能な爪用開口部と、 前記爪側ス卜ッパーと当接 する/ \ブ側ストッパーとを有し、
前記ディスクが前記爪部に保持されていないスタンバイ状態での前記爪部の位置を、 前記 ディスクが前記爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態での前記爪部の位置よりち低くした ことを特徴とするチヤッキング装置。
2 前記弾性部材としてコイルばねを用い、 前記爪側ストヅパーと前記ハブ側ストヅ パーとの当接位置を、 前記コイルばねの中心線よりも下方に設けたことを特徴とする請求 の範囲 1に記載のチヤッキング装置。
3 前記爪側ストッパーと前記八ブ側ス卜ツバ一との当接位置を、 前記爪部よりも内 方に設けたことを特徴とする請求の範囲 2に記載のチヤッキング装置。
4 前記爪側ストッパーを、 前記爪部の側部に設け ことを特徴とする請求の範囲 2 に記載のチヤッキング装置。
5 前記ディスクが前記爪部に保持されていないスタンバイ状態での前記爪部の位置 を、 前記八ブの上面の高さ以下としだことを特徴とする請求の範囲 1に記載のチヤツキン グ装置。
6 前記ディスクカ ^前記爪部に保持されている記録'再生状態での前記爪部の位置を、 前記ハブの上面より高くしたことを特徴とする請求の範囲 1に記載のチヤッキング装置。
7 前記ディスクが前記爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態で、
前記ディスクの厚さが薄い場合には、 前記ディスクが厚い場合と比較して、 前記爪部は外 方に移動するととちに、 前記爪部の位置が低くなることを特徴とする請求の範囲 1に記載 のチヤヅキング装置。
8 前記爪本体の先方側に設けられだ上向ガイド面と、 前記上向ガイド面と対向する 位置に設けられだ、 前記ハブ本体の下向受面が、 先方側が低くなる傾きをもって設けられ 7 ことを特徴とする請求の範囲了に記載のチャッキング装置。
9 ターンテーブルのハブ本体の径方向に、 複数の爪本体を移動可能に設け、 前記爪 本体でディスク中心孔部を押さえてディスクを保持するチヤッキング装置であって、 前記爪本体を前記八ブ本体に対して外方へ付勢する弾性部材を設け、
前記爪本体は、 前記ディスクと接触する爪部と、 前記弾性部材による外方向への移動を規 制する爪側ス卜ッパーとを有し、

1 0 前記爪部の先端部より下方位置に下向ガイド面を設け、 前記下向ガイド面と対 向する位置の前記ハブ本体に上向受面を設け、 前記下向ガイド面を、 少なくとち第 1の傾 斜面と第 2の傾斜面で構成し、 前記爪部を上部から前記ディスクによって押圧した時に、 前記第 1の傾斜面を、 前記爪部の先端部が前記ディスクの中心孔部に挿入される時に又は 前記ディスクの中心孔部に挿入される手前までに前記上向受面と当接する面とし、 前記第 2の傾斜面を、 前記爪部の先端部が前記ディスクの中心孔部に挿入された後に前記上向受 面と当接する面とし、 前記第 2の傾斜面を前記第 1の傾斜面よりも、 押圧方向に対する角 度を小さくし、 前記爪部を上部から押圧することにより、 前記下向ガイド面が前記上向受 面に沿って摺動し、 前記爪部が内方へ移動することを特徴とする請求の範囲 7に記載のチ ャッキング装置。
1 1 前記弾性部材としてコイルばねを用い、 前記爪側ストツバ一と前記ハブ側スト ッ I \°一との当接位置を、 前記コイルばねの中心線よりち下方に設けるとともに前記爪部よ りも内方に設けたことを特徴とする請求の範囲 7に記載のチャッキング装置。

1 3 前記ディスクが前記爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態での前記爪部の上面 が、 スタンバイ状態での前記爪部の上面よりも、 前記ディスク面に対して、 先側が高い傾 きを持っていることを特徴とする請求の範囲 1に記載のチヤッキング装置。
1 4 前記爪部の上面の内方にテーパー面を設け、 前記爪部の上面の先方の面よりも 内側が下がる傾きにし、 前記ディスクが前記爪部に保持されている記録 ·再生状態では、 前記ディスク面に対して、 前記テーノ \°一面は内側が下が:る傾きであることを特徴とする請 求の範囲 1 3に記載のチヤッキング装置。
