Abstract

L'invention concerne un système (1) pour surveiller le mouvement d'un individu (2) comprenant un dispositif portable (5) porté par l'individu, ce dernier communiquant avec un dispositif de commande (6) central éloigné dans le cas d'une urgence déterminée par le dispositif portable (5). Ledit dispositif portable (5) comprend un microprocesseur (15) qui détermine l'emplacement du dispositif à des intervalles de surveillance prédéterminés, généralement d'une durée de trente secondes, au moyens de systèmes satellites et/ou de systèmes de positionnement global terrestre. Le dispositif portable (5) ainsi que la détermination de son emplacement dans les intervalles de surveillance déterminent également sa vitesse et sa trajectoire, et comparent chaque emplacement, vitesse et trajectoire déterminés avec les paramètres déterminés correspondants. Dans le cas où l'emplacement, la vitesse et la trajectoire déterminés du dispositif portable (5) dépasse le paramètre extérieur, un signal d'alerte est transmis au dispositif de commande (6) central, éloigné, qui à sont tour envoie des alertes appropriées à un ordinateur (10), un fax (11), un téléphone à ligne fixe (12), et un téléphone mobile (13) d'une personne autorisée et alerte les services d'urgence correspondant à l'urgence.
