According to the invention, a presentation stand for presenting a presentation object, for example a case of a compact disc (CD), is provided, which is made in particular from natural stone and / or plastic and / or acrylic glass or / and wood. The presentation stand is particularly suitable for use in music and hi-fi shops, but also for upscale home use, e.g. for temporary storage of the case of a CD or a favorite CD that has just been inserted.
