Abstract

The invention relates to solar engineering and can be used for devices converting solar electromagnetic radiation into heat energy for a heat-carrier heating. The inventive solar collector comprises a closed shell which is made of transparent single-layer and multi-layer material and consists of a central surface, two cylindrical side surfaces interfaced with said central surface on the side edges thereof and a plane which is tangent to said cylindrical side surfaces. Said collector also comprises two end lids arranged on the end faces of the shell and a solar heat receiver for transferring heat to the heat carrier, which is arranged in the shell and whose external surface is covered with a selective coating. Said central surface is embodied in the form of a cylinder having radius R. Two side surfaces have radius r.
