Abstract

The inventive method for controlling external means for life activity of a human being consists in controlling with the aid of maxillofacial muscles and tongue muscles which act on a device arranged in a mouth cavity. The unit (1) of a co-ordinate-setting device which determines the operation of the external means is displaceable in a predefined direction. The device element (2) detecting the displacement of the co-ordinate-setting device is disposed in the front part of the mouth cavity and a hard palate. The inventive device also comprises a press button (7) arrangeable between upper and lower front teeth, a signal processing unit and a receiver-transmitter (4). The signal detecting part of the signal-processing unit is embodied in the form of a panel in such a way that it is arrangeable in the front part of the mouth cavity and the hard palate. The co-ordinate-setting device is embodied in the form of a sucker in such a way that it is fixable to the point of the tongue. Additional control buttons (8) can be arranged on the teeth's chewing surface. The signal detecting part of the signal processing unit also can be embodied in the form of a touchpad or sensor arm which is pivotally connected to the sucker.
