Abstract

The invention relates to an architecture for mobile applications with a simplified wireless terminal. More specifically, the invention relates to a system consisting of at least one application server, at least one application client and at least one terminal comprising means of exchanging digital data with the application server over a wireless link. The invention is characterised in that the application client is not located in the terminal but in the network and in that the terminal comprises physical devices which are controlled by driver programs, said application client comprising means of delivering and receiving data which are transmitted over the wireless link and which can be processed directly by the aforementioned drivers.
