Abstract

The present invention relates to the assembly and integration of individual components to provide a low-cost system to study biological reactions. The system comprises an optimized substrate surface in a microarray format, a printing station (21), a processing station (22) and an imaging station (23), with robotic operations that allow low-cost automated printing, processing, and imaging of protein microarrays.
