Abstract

Invention Ecoret-system for retention in the production of paper relates to the field of paper production, that is the area where retention of fibres and fillers is conducted. Improvement of retention level is subject of permanent attention of paper producers, since this is an area where significant technical and ecological improvements may be achieved, as well as reduction of production costs. By applying of this invention the level of retention is increased (retention of fibres and fillers), as also dosing of retention means I simplified and contamination of waste water is decreased, all the aforesaid resulting in decreasing of costs of paper production. The essence of this invention represents the fact that the paper is produced by firstly adding of liquid cationic coagulant, such as polyaluminim chloride, with subsequent adding of polymer of corresponding charge (anionic, cationic, nonionic).

Description

RETENTION SYSTEM IN PRODUCTION OF PAPER
1. HELD OF TECHNIQUE THE INVENTION RELATES TO
The invention relates to the field of paper production.
2. TECHNICAL PROBLEM THE PROTECTION IS REQUESTED FOR
The invention improves the retention of fibres and fillers in paper production.
3. STATUS OF TECHNIQUE
Nowdays, there are two systems existing in the field of technique this invention relates to.
The first system is a mono system, by which system only one retention aid is added (polymer of anionic, cationic or nonionic type).
The second, improved system includes adding of two aids for the retention of fibres and fillers, one of which is polymer, and the other inorganic coagulant such as bentonite, with corresponding charge.
Outgoing patent protection in this field of technique relates only to the patent under publication number US5514249, date of publication May 7th 1996, IPC classification D21H21/10, EOB classification D21H17/37B, D21H17/68, D21H23/14, inventor Cauley Thomas A., Langley John G. and nion Adrian. 4. PRESENTATION OF ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION
The advantage of this invention is comparison to the already existing solutions relates to the folowing:
-better keeping, retention respectively, of fibres and fillers in paper production, -decreasing of level of waste water contamination, resulting in decrease of costs of waste water processing, as well as lower fees paid for waste water discharges, -direct implementation (dosing) of chemicals, without prior preparation.
This new system differs from the already existing systems by the fact that this new system determines the order of specific chemicals that are not applied in already existing patents. In the existing patents preparation of chemicals is relatively complex, demaning more expensive equipment, premises and additional manpower.
In this new system there is no need for any special equipment, since the delivered chemicals are already prepared for implementation (dosing).
5. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF IMAGES DRAWING
The scheme represents a part of machine for paper production, so called constant part with machine sieve for paper production where the paper sheet is formed.
Coagulant, as a retention aid, is added in the pipe (position 1), through which pipe circulates paper pulp of low concentration (0.5-1,0%), before mixing pump and devise for additional sorting (postition 2) where higher level of turbulence is achieved resulting in better performance of coagulant. Polyelectrolite, as the second retention aid in dual system, is added after sorting (position 3) in front of the thread of the paper machine (position 4), also in the zone of high turbulence, so better retention of fibres and fillers could be achieved.
So prepared paper pulp, running through the thread comes to the paper machine sieve (position 5) where the paper sheet is formed from suspension of paper fibres, which is in further stage processed through different systems of drainage and drying until the final product is produced.
6. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION REALISATION
By this invention coagulant is dosed to the paper pulp of low concentration before filtration device (sorting machine), while the polymer is dosed after the filtration device (sorting machine).
The paper is produced by adding of inorganic coagulant, as the first retention aid, to the paper pulp of low concentration with strong mixing. After that polymer of different charge is added (polyelectrolite), also in the zone of high turbulence. From such a prepared paper pulp paper sheet is formed on paper machine sieve and further processed by procedures of drainage and drying until the final product is produced.
Inorganic coagulant, as a retention aid, is added to the pipe (position 1) through which pipe circulates paper pulp pf low concentration (0,5-1,0%) before mixing pump and device for additional sorting (position 2) where higher level of turbulence is achieved resulting in better performance of coagulant.
SUBSTITUTE SHEΞT(RULE 26) Polymer, as the second retention aid in dual system, is added after sorting machine (position 3) in front of the thread of the paper machine (position 4), also in the zone of high turbulence, so better retention of fibres and fillers could be achieved.
So prepared paper pulp, running through the thread comes to the paper machine sieve (position 5) where the paper sheet is formed from suspension of paper fibres, which is in further stage processed through different systems of drainage and drying until the final product is produced.
SUBSTITUTE SHEET(RULE 25)
