Abstract

An automatic controlled parachute includes a parachute canopy, a flight controller (110) and risers (131) connecting the canopy to the flight controller (110). Pneumatic actuators (20) are connected along the risers (131). The flight controller (110) operates the pneumatic actuators (20) to control the length of the risers (131). The direction of flight of the parachute is controlled by the length of the risers (131).
