   cigarette
The invention relates to a cigarette box according to the preamble of claim 1
From DE 26 47 303 C3 a cigarette box designed as a sliding box is known, in which the cover, which is rectangular in section, is produced from a blank which is rectangular in itself, but additionally has a tab projecting laterally outwards, which apparently serves to prevent an unintended one Avoid slipping the slider out of the case, and leads to excessive material consumption. In this blank, tongue-shaped tabs are also provided, which cooperate with a guide slot in the slide in order to limit the stroke of the slide relative to the sleeve.

  The tongue-shaped tab is hooked behind the guide slot in an additional work step, including an outside

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 Side tab of the slide is to be pressed in with a U-shaped punched-in indentation area that remains visible from the outside. As a result, the tongue-shaped tab comes into a gap between overlapping side walls of the slide.

   The object of the invention is to provide a cigarette box according to the preamble of claim 1, which ensures easy assembly with an economical consumption of materials.

   This object is achieved in accordance with the characterizing part of claim 1.

   This not only saves material, but also saves at least one work step and no impressions or

  Incisions are visible from the outside.

   Further refinements of the invention can be found in the following description and the subclaims.

   The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the accompanying figures.

   1 shows a blank for a wrapper of a cigarette box designed as a sliding box.

   FIG. 2 shows a blank for a slide for the casing from FIG. 1.

   The blank A shown in FIG. 1 for a cover is rectangular and comprises a total of five tabs 2, 3, 4, and 6 separated by fold lines 1, of which the four tabs 2, 3, 4 and 5 are the four sides of one on both Form ends of the open shell in which the overlap tab 6 is glued to the tab 2. Here, the overlap flap 6 has a rectangular window 7, which extends in the direction of the fold lines 1, and is located on the inside of the flap 2.

   In the illustrated embodiment, the tabs 2, 3, 4 and 5 are all of the same width, so that the shell has a square shape in section.

  However, the tabs can also be of correspondingly different widths and can also differ in number, so that a polygonal cross section,

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 thus also results in a triangle, a hexagon, an octagon or the like in addition to a square and a rectangle, wherein the longitudinal edges thereof can also be rounded and / or chamfered. In addition, the cross section can be more or less round to oval or kidney-shaped. In the latter case, the adhesive section located on the inside corresponding to the overlap flap 6 has the window 7.

   The blank B shown in FIG. 2 for a slide which can be received by the cover of the sliding box from a blank A of FIG. 1 and which itself serves to receive a cigarette block which may be wrapped with inner paper, comprises a central flap 8 with a width and a length corresponding to that Tabs 2,3, 4,5 of the blank A for the cover, d. H. the width of the middle flap 8 is reduced by the cardboard thickness of the blank A.

   In the longitudinal direction of the middle flap 8, a bottom flap 10 connected by the middle flap 8 via a fold line 9 and a bottom flap 12 extending this and connected to this via a fold line 11 are connected on one side, while a head flap 14 connected via a fold line 13 and a slide tab 16 that extends this and connects to it via a fold line 15. On the long sides of the middle flap 8 there is a side flap 18 connected via a fold line 17.

   Approximately in the middle of the middle plate 8 there is a rectangular locking plate 19 punched out on three sides, which is connected to the middle plate 8 on the side facing the bottom plate 10.

   The slide is formed by folding over the bottom flap 10, the bottom side flap 12 and the side flaps 18, the bottom side flap 12 partially forming the fourth wall opposite the center flap 8. The head flap 14 and the slide flap 16 are also folded over, the slide flap 16 in the exemplary embodiment shown bordering approximately on the bottom side flap 12. The locking tab 19 is placed outside during the manufacture of the slide. The slide thus formed, which contains the cigarette block, is inserted into the casing, whereby. the

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

   Locking tab 19 springs out in the window 7.

   If the slide is now pushed out opposite the cover, this can be done in accordance with the stroke permitted by the window 7. However, if the locking tab 19 engages with the corresponding end of the window 7, further pushing out is prevented.

   Since the bottom side plate 12 and the slide plate 16, when the slide is in the cover, press slightly resiliently outward, the movement of the slide in the cover is thereby braked, so that an unintentional movement of the slide relative to the cover is avoided.

   The overlap tab 6 having the window 7 can expediently be used to narrow the receiving space of the cover for the slide, so that the movement of the slide in the cover is accordingly braked accordingly, so that inadvertent movement of the slide relative to the cover is also avoided ,

   In order to prevent the slide from being pushed out of the envelope on the other side when pushing in to close the sliding box, the head flap 14 is widened on both sides by an outwardly projecting ear 20, with which the slide is then supported on the sleeve, since the head flap 14 is thereby somewhat larger than the inner cross section of the casing. This also has the advantage that the blocking effected in this way is seen and thus the direction of extension is perceived.

   Although this embodiment is preferred, instead of the ears 20, a second locking tab can be provided mirror-symmetrically at a distance from the locking tab 19, which, in cooperation with the window 7, limits the insertion of the slide into the casing. However, this either requires an insertion aid when manufacturing the box, or the cover has to be folded around the slide.

   The locking tab 19 can also be stamped on only one side and otherwise curved outwards by means of a pressure tool.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 5>

   The side flaps 18 can have more or less curved recesses 21, which serve the better removal of the cigarettes when the slide is pushed out until the stop flap 19 stops at the window 7.

   The side flaps 18 furthermore ensure that the slide is guided well in the casing and the central flap 8 cannot bulge, so that the locking flap 19 does not come out of engagement with the window 7. The side tabs 18 may also be missing, which further reduces the material consumption, but the slide is then made of a sufficiently strong material, i.e. H. accordingly thick and stiff cardboard, so that due to the material thickness it is avoided that the central flap 8 bulges and the locking flap 19 loses its function.

   The slide tab 16 can be chamfered or partially chamfered to triangular, rounded to semicircular, chamfered or partially chamfered as well as rounded and / or tapered.

   The ears 20 can also be formed as punched-out areas in the region of the slide flap 16 adjacent to the fold line 15 and in the region of the central flap 8 adjacent to the fold line 13.

   The length of the tabs 2 to 6 is preferably somewhat larger than the length of the cigarette. The length of the blank A is equal to the width of the sides or

  The circumference of the casing plus one side or plus internal overlap, the latter being at least somewhat wider than the width of the locking tab 19.

   The opening height, i.e. H. the stroke of the slide in the casing is expediently chosen such that it is approximately 1/3 to 1/4 of the cigarette length in order to ensure good accessibility thereof.

   The length of the slide tab 16 is expediently somewhat greater than the stroke of the slide relative to the sleeve, so that the slide tab 16 is just held when the slide is pushed out accordingly, in order to then push the edge between the top tab 14 and the slide tab 16 or push up Slide tab 16 with your finger to the opening

 cause.

   A cigarette box designed as such a sliding box is particularly suitable for holding a smaller number of cigarettes, for example from 4 to 9 cigarettes.

   If possible, the formation and configuration can be designed in such a way that the same shape results for an associated pack.
