Abstract

The invention relates to a device for closing a container (B), said device comprising a screw cap (2) having a protruding edge (22), and a batch container (4) having a base (32). Said batch container base (32) comprises a region (32, 33b, 44) which is at a distance from the protruding edge (22), and a region (32, 33a, 46, 52, 54) which can be intersected by the edge (22) during the rotation of the screw cap (2) in the opening direction.
