Abstract

The aim of the invention is for example the prevention of unauthorised copying of data on write-once optical data stores, comprising a plastic support (1) with a track structure defining a memory region, in particular on DVD-Rs, whereby data is already provided in a given section of the memory region by the producer. The above is achieved, whereby the tracks in the pre-defined region of the memory region are provided with an alternating track depth according to the given data. A stamper for production of the plastic support with the track structure is produced by means of laser illumination and development of a photoresist layer on a glass disc, coating the structured photoresist with metal and separation of the metal layer from the photoresist layer and the glass disc. Formation of the alternating track depths is achieved, whereby the intensity of the light used for the illumination is modulated such as to develop the tracks with alternating track depth. The resist layer is alternately completely removed or just partly removed. An additional resist layer is optionally applied beneath the resist layer, removed in the given region of the memory region and covered with an intermediate layer.
