Abstract

The invention relates to a machine control program system (1) that strictly separates a programming level from a working level, wherein said system has the aim of improving precision of machine tools, while independently observing mechanically geometric precision, improving operation of said machine tool and optionally reducing cycle time. The programming level is assigned to an operating module (14), which only receives and reproduces setpoint data. A machine working program is generated with the aid of a translation module or a correction module, said working program being assigned to the working plane. The machine working program contains the instructions and data required to finish the work piece with the desired precision. The data and instructions of the machine working program can differ from the data and instructions of the operating module (14). In order to produce the machine working program, measuring data of a measuring module (16) are retrieved, which were obtained during an initializing process. The correction module (17) corrects the machine working program in such a way that the desired precision is achieved.
