Abstract

The invention concerns a method for touch simulation on a keyboard (1) which consists in performing the following actions iteratively: measuring at least a movement parameter of each key (2) of the keyboard (1) using a sensor (11); calculating a force exerted on the finger of the instrumentalist based on the measured parameters and deducing therefrom a control value; driving an actuator (3) which applies the calculated force to the key (2). The invention is characterised in that it consists in calculating said force on the basis of a modelling of the dynamic mechanical behaviour of the different elements of a mechanism of a keyboard instrument which is to be simulated, the force calculated by means of said modelling corresponding to the reaction force which would be exerted by the mechanism on the key (2) taking into account the prior dynamic trajectory thereof.
