Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition de résine thermoplastique à capacité de moussage donnant une mousse légère, qui constitue un excellent matériau retardateur de flamme notamment grâce à son aptitude au maintien de forme en cours de combustion, et qui est également satisfaisant dans les domaines suivants: propriétés mécaniques, absorption des chocs, résistance thermique, stabilité dimensionnelle, etc., y compris un faible coefficient d'expansion linéaire. L'invention concerne en outre une mousse de résine thermoplastique élaborée à partir de la composition considérée, et un composite à couches contenant ladite composition. Cette composition renferme, en poids, 100 parties de résine thermoplastique, entre 0,1 et 100 parties de phyllosilicate, entre 0,1 et 50 parties de résine polyoléfinique modifiée par acide, et un agent d'expansion.
