Abstract

The invention concerns a method for processing history files of Internet requests addressed by a plurality of clients to an Internet site server, the clients and the server being connected to the Internet network and the server comprising a certain number of pages. Said method comprises steps which consist in: establishing a request history file at said server; classifying said requests by client groups; deducing from the classified request a history of transactions carried out successively by each client group; establishing for each client group a state of partial paths centred on each page of said server; deducing from said state a multidimensional representation of page-to-page transitions performed on the server; reducing said multidimensional representation to not more than three dimensions; and establishing, from the representation with not more than three dimensions, a match between each site page and a position of said representation.
