Abstract

Disclosed is a clip element for joining an upholstery element (3) to a foam upholstery element (2), comprising a base part (5, 5'; 51, 51') and at least one catch hook (6;6') for engagement with a counter part (4). The catch hook (6, 6') is provided with two walls. When mounted, the clip element gives way under the effect of pressure, whereby it cannot be felt when sitting on the foam upholstery element. The invention also relates to a fixing device with one such clip element and a fixing element connected to the upholstery element (3).
