Abstract

The invention relates to a fuel cell arrangement comprising at least one fuel cell. Said arrangement contains an anode (7) through which a fuel gas can pass, and a cathode (7) through which a cathode gas can pass. An electrolyte matrix (2) is arranged between the anode and the cathode. The channels (4, 5) guiding the fuel or the oxidant are at least partially formed by structured layers of sheet metal which are characterised in that they have a thickness of between 0.02 and 1.1 mm, preferably between 0.03 and 0.08 mm. The advantage of said fuel cell arrangement is that it only requires a small amount of space and can produce a high electrical efficiency.
