Abstract

The invention relates to a sponge handle used in personal hygiene, consisting of a main body (1) having transversal slots into which flat support parts (2 and 3) with opposite projecting elements (2.2 and 3.2) are inserted for fixing an exchangeable sponge (4).

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a sponge handle for use in the shower for personal hygiene.

The handle allows you to change the sponge by incorporating one of those usually found in the market.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The subject invention herein relates to a handle for personal cleansing in which is arranged an exchangeable sponge ^'• commonly found on the market.

The handle shows an elongated main body and constituted from a thick plate widened at both ends, and to a greater extent at the end where the sponge is located.

The end that allows its grip has a groove for hanging, and the other end of greater width, has four transverse grooves where the pieces that have the sponge support projections are inserted.

Although four projections are incorporated in the preferred embodiment, it is possible to arrange a different number without changing the object of the invention.

The sponge clamping parts are mainly flat and have a lower clamping flange that is inserted in the corresponding transverse groove.

They show superiorly these clamping pieces a "C" profile so that the sponge is hugged and held by opposing projections.

The distance between the opposing projections is less than the width of the sponge, thus, at the time of insertion of the sponge, it is folded longitudinally being held by the resistance offered by the sponge against flexion.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the foregoing, the present invention relates to a handle for sponges.
