Abstract
A virtual training system is implemented on the Internet (50). By implementing the virtual training system on the Internet (50), the system allows dynamic updating of the training text. The administrators receive input from the users to update the system. The users' navigation in the training program (48) is stored to create training statistics (54) at the central server location (40). These training statistics (54) are used for employee evaluation, self-evaluation, or software program evaluation. Additionally, an important use of the training statistics (54) is the use to produce market focus when users evaluating the software use the training statistics program. In a preferred embodiment the training system provides enough training for a user to begin working with the software as a complete novice. Additionally, a documentation system, implemented similarly to the virtual training system, can be done. The documentation system allows the collection of documentation-type data closely tied to the software display.
