Abstract

The invention concerns an Internet access system comprising a user terminal (5) communicating through a modem or adaptor (10) for data transmission with a server (11) which itself communicates with an Internet access provider (13). The invention is characterised in that it further comprises a prepaid medium (1) for subscribed or subscription-free short-term access for providing the user with Internet connection credit time.
