Abstract

For use in short-distance networks, such as home-telephone for voice over IP, a multicarrier transmission and multiplexing system is proposed. The master station assigns subcarriers to each slave station, each of which sees, and transmits, a single carrier signal. Long cyclic prefixes are used.
