The above object can be achieved according to the present invention with a device for blocking water leak for use in a toilet bowl which has a water tank for supplying the water to the toilet bowl through a water leak opening, a lever and an adjusting bar installing at the exterior of the water tank and being operated for supplying the water to the toilet bowl, and a supplement valve for receiving the water from an exterior water supply tube and supplying the water to the water tank, the supplement valve installing at the interior of the water tank, including: a leg installed for rotating and moving at a lower end of the supplement valve; and, a blocking film for blocking the water leak opening by coupling to the front of the leg, the blocking film being made of quality different from that of the leg. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be in detail explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Most of all, FIG. 1 is a separated side view showing a device for blocking water leak for use in a toilet bowl according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Herein, as illustrated in FIG. 1, the present invention is for solving position changing problem by twisting of the conventional leg made of rubber and uses after making the leg and the blocking film made of quality different from that of the leg and coupling the leg and the blocking film
Therefore, while the device 10 for blocking water leak according to the present invention makes the leg 12 having a fixing ring 14 of plastic, the blocking film 18 coupled to the fixing ring 14 of the leg 12 is made of rubber, thereby being used after forcibly engaged to the leg 12.
Additionally, at the same time of making perfect opening of the device for blocking the water leak, a weight unit 12a is shaped at one portion of th leg 12 to induce smooth closing of the device for blocking the water leak after water leak. Meantimes, as shown in FIGs. 2 and 4, a fixing groove 13 having digged portion is provided at the rear surface of the weight unit 12a and a iron pole 15 having the given weight is inserted into the fixing groove 13. At this point, the weight is adjusted by the fixing groove 13 and the iron pole 15 because of excessive cost consumption (by plastic molding) and difficulties when making the above-mentioned leg 12.
A hinge ball 12b for hinge coupling is shaped between the fixing ring 14 and the weight unit 12a, and a protrusion unit 14 included with a coupling ball 16 for coupling a chain operated by a lever 30 is shaped at the fixing ring 14.
In the meanwhile, since an engaging groove 18a circularly extended is formed at the blocking film 18, the engaging groove 18a is forcibly engaged to the inner circumference surface 14b upon assembly, as shown in FIG. 2. As illustrated in FIG. 2, it can be seen that the engaging groove 18a of the blocking film 18 is tightly engaged to the fixing ring 14 of the leg 12. In FIG. 2, a connecting ring 24 is provided at the coupling ball 16 shaped at the front protrusion unit 14a of the leg 12 shown at the left, and the chain 22 connected to the lever is coupled to the connecting ring 24. FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing the state where an adjusting tube and the device for blocking water leak for use in a toilet bowl are coupled to each other. As shown in FIG. 3, the connecting ring 24 is provided at the low end of the chain 22 installed inside the adjusting tube 20, the leg 12 is coupled to the connecting ring 24, and an operation bar 28 is coupled to the upper end of the chain 22 through the connecting ring 26. Accordingly, when the lever 30 is operated, the operation force of the lever 30 is transmitted to the operation bar 28 and the leg 12 through the chain 22 in the adjusting tube 20. And due to this, while the leg 12 is rotated and moved, the blocking film 18 is lifted to thereby make the water leak opening, to be open, as depicted in FIG. 5a.
As illustrated in FIG. 5a, while the operation bar 28 is rotated and moved by the operation of the lever 30, the blocking film 18 is lifted through the chain 22. In this case, the leg 12 installed at a supplement valve 34 is rotated and moved centering around the hinge 32. When the water leak through the water leak opening is completed or the user lifts the lever 30, a shown in FIG. 5b, the chain 22 pushes down while the operation bar 28 is rotated and moved to its original state and thus, the blocking film 18 returns to its original position according to rotation and movement of the leg 12 and the water leak opening is blocked. Simultaneously, while the supplement valve 34 is open, the water flown through a water supply tube 42 and a duct 40 to a pipe 22 fulls the water tank 50. A cock 24 is engaged at the upper portion of the duct 26. A cover 52 is provided to block the flow of an alien substance at the upper portion of the water tank 50.
Whereas the device for blocking the water leak according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention as stated hereinbefore is defined to the device made of two different qualities.
While there have been illustrated and described what are considered to be preferred embodiments of the present invention as stated hereinabove, that is, the device for blocking the water leak, the device made of two different qualities, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made, and equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the true scope of the present invention. In addition, many modifications may be made to adapt a particular situation to the teaching of the present invention without departing from the central scope thereof. Therefore, it is intended that the present invention not be limited to the particular embodiments disclosed as the best mode contemplated for cairying out the present invention, but that the present invention includes all embodiments falling within the scope of the appended claims.
As may be apparent from the foregoing, the device according to the present invention can block water leak for use in a toilet bowl, by making a leg and a blocking film made of two different qualities, namely, the leg made of plastic, the blocking film made of rubber, coupling the leg and the blocking film, and making a weight unit at rear portion of the leg, thereby simultaneously making the above device to be open at a maximum angle upon opening, preventing the above device from suddenly being closed by the weight unit after opening, and exactly reli-i-rning to closing position by the plastic leg. Therefore, the above device can be used in the conventional flush toilet bowl necessitating the blocking film made of rubber as well as in the device for adjusting the amount of the water, which is invented by the same applicant of the present invention. Likewise, since only one portion of the above device is made of plastic, the cost is chapter than that of the conventional device, thereby widely being used with inexpensive cost, advantageously.
