Abstract

The element of interior car equipment with a covering layer, according to the invention consists of the body (1) made of a foamed plastic and of the covering layer (4) that partially covers it. The body (1) is equipped with an internal supportive ring element (3) whose contour corresponds with that of the covering layer (4) and the shape of its cross-section is adjusted to the shape of the covering layer (4), in such a way that the supportive ring element (3) has at least one edge that is in circumferential contact with the inner side of the covering layer (4), while the edge that does not contact the inner side of the covering layer (4) rests on the frame (2) situated inside the body (1).
