Description

Beschreibungdescription
Akkumulatoreinheit und KommunikationsendgerätAccumulator unit and communication terminal
The invention relates to an accumulator unit, in particular an accumulator unit which can be used in communication terminals which are operated by means of a chip card, and a corresponding communication terminal.
Communication terminals, in particular mobile telephones, are known which have several interchangeable components. There are cell phones, for example, that contain a replaceable antenna, replaceable housing parts, replaceable batteries and exchangeable chip cards.
Conventional mobile telephones have a drawer or tilting compartment which is provided especially for a chip card and which, by means of a latching or locking mechanism, ensures that the chip card is firmly and reliably positioned in the cell phone, so that a reliable electrically conductive connection between the chip card and corresponding contact elements of the mobile phone is guaranteed.
With the increasingly widespread use of mobile telephones, technologically simple implementations for arranging, fastening or connecting interchangeable components with the mobile telephone itself are becoming increasingly important.
The invention is therefore based on the object of specifying an accumulator unit and a communication terminal which enable a chip card to be reliably positioned in a communication terminal in a technologically simple manner. This object is solved by the features of the independent claims. Advantageous and expedient further developments result from the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the idea of integrating a chip card holder in an accumulator unit which is provided for a communication terminal device which can be operated by means of a chip card.
It is thereby achieved that the chip card can be accommodated in communication terminals in such a way that it is easily accessible to the user after the accumulator unit has been removed. Due to the fixed positioning of the chip card relative to the battery unit and a fixed positioning of the battery unit in the housing of the communication terminal, the chip card is also fixed relative to the communication terminal, which is advantageous for reliable contacting of contact elements of the chip card with corresponding contact elements of the communication terminal.
Various mobile radio standards stipulate that a subscriber identification module designed as a chip card must not be changed during the operation of the mobile telephone. This is ensured by the invention, since the chip card can only be replaced after the battery unit has been removed and the mobile telephone cannot be operated when the battery unit is removed. For chip card protection, it is advantageous to remove the chip card from the mobile phone only when it is de-energized; this is also guaranteed by the invention.
Since the invention makes it possible to dispense with an additional latching or locking device which is provided specifically for the chip card, and complex hinge and slide constructions are also not required, the chip card holder can be kept small, which prevents further miniaturization of mobile telephones comes. Since the contact can be realized in mobile phones with less effort than in, usually purchased, chip card holders, the technological effort can be reduced compared to the prior art.
To achieve the object, a communication terminal is also specified which is suitable for operation by means of the battery unit according to the invention or one of its developments.
Zur Erläuterung dieser Ausführungsbei- spiele sollen nachstehend aufgelistete Figuren dienen:The invention is described in more detail below on the basis of preferred exemplary embodiments, the features contained therein also being able to be encompassed by the invention in other combinations. The figures listed below are intended to explain these exemplary embodiments:

Figur 2 Vorderansicht einer Akkumulatoreinheit mit integriertem Chipkartenhalter;FIG. 2 front view of an accumulator unit with an integrated chip card holder;
Figure 3 Sketch of a communication terminal with a recess for an accumulator unit with an integrated chip card holder.
An der Rückseite der Akkumulatoreinheit 10 befindet sich eine zu einer Verrastung des Kommunikationsendgerätes korrespondierende Einbuchtung 19.FIGS. 1 and 2, to which reference is made in the following, show an accumulator unit 10 which contains at least one accumulator cell 11 which is surrounded by a housing 12 which is formed from plastic. Contact elements 13 for establishing an electrically conductive connection from the battery cell 11 to corresponding contact elements of a communication terminal are arranged on the upper side 17 of the battery unit 10. The planar, possibly resilient, contact elements 13 can be contacted by recesses in the housing 12. Also on the top is a recess 14 which is designed in such a way that it enables a form-fitting accommodation of a chip card 15. An extension channel is formed by extensions 19 of the top side 17 of the rechargeable battery housing which protrude beyond the recess 14 and into which the chip card 15 can be inserted from the front side 18 of the housing 12. Depending on the extension of the extensions 19, this insertion channel 14 is more or less open to the top. When the chip card 15 is inserted, the contact elements 16 of the chip card lie essentially in one plane or parallel to the plane of the contact elements 13 of the accumulator unit. At the rear of the accumulator unit 10 there is an indentation 19 corresponding to a latching of the communication terminal.
Figur 3 zeigt ein Kommunikationsendgerät 20, bei dem es sich um ein Mobiltelefon, einen tragbaren Computer oder einen elektronischen Organizer handeln kann, dessen Betrieb insbesondere den Einsatz einer Chipkarte erfordern kann.FIG. 3 shows a communication terminal 20, which can be a mobile phone, a portable computer or an electronic organizer, the operation of which can in particular require the use of a chip card.
> p> H> o π O Cπ o rt iQ CΛ 1 0) P- α O ^ P dd P α ιQ vQ rt α rt 3 tr H α Φ Φ Φ α Φ φ Φ P Φ Φ Φ P- P- O P P P-The device 20 has on one side of the housing as a battery compartment a recess 24 into which the battery unit 10 can be inserted in a form-fitting manner.
