Abstract

The invention is meant as practice equipment for golfers for the purpose of practising the putting movement, and body position for strokes with a putter. The invention comprises a laserpointer with adjustable angled holder which is mounted on the clubshaft under the handgrip. The laserpoint is aimed so that it is visible between two fields positioned on a transparent plate's long side. A signal is emitted from light sensitive electronics mounted on the club when the laserbeam is broken by one of the adjustable fields, or a signal is emitted when the laserbeam hits light sensitive electronics in the adjustable field. A mirror can be adjusted so that the player's eye position is above the hitting area on the club-head. With the laserpoint, and the signal, the movement's direction, and the putter's club angle can be controlled.

Description

Golfers' practice device with signal to putter

Description

The invention's background.

Many golfers experience problems with focusing on the ball and holding the head still at the same time as the player makes a straight putting movement.

The invention makes it possible for the player to.via the adjustable mirror, see that the position of the eye is directily above the club-head at the same time as the laserpoint on the plate indicates the player's puttingmovement. The laserpoint will during the puttingmovement, when the player brings the clubhead below the transparent plate.parallel follow the corridor between the adjustable fields. When the laserbeam from the laser pointer which is mounted below the handgrip is broken by the field on the plate, a signal is emitted from a small electronic unit mounted on the club, or the field on the transparent plate can be equipped with light sensitive electronics. The signal will be emitted when the beam hits the field.

The invention's purpose and most important characteristics.

The purpose of the invention is that every golfer who uses the practice device will be able to practice the puttingmovement with a visual and audio effect, including with the mirror being able to control the eye's position over the club-head.

The player gets confirmation of the puttingmovement from the laserpointer

(6) which with an adjustable holder (7) is mounted under the handgrip on the shaft.

The laserbeam from the laserpointer is aimed between two fields (9) on a plate (4) mounted on a stand (2) including a base (1).

A signal is emitted from light sensitive electronics mounted on the club

(10) when the laserbeam is broken by the adjustable field (9) in the transparent plate (4), or emits a signal when the beam hits light sensitive electronics In the adjustable field (9).

The mirror (5) can be adjusted so that the player's eye position is over the strikingpoint on the club-head.

With the laserpoint, and signal the movement's aim.aπd putter's angle can be controlled.

Claims

CLAIM
Practice equipment for golfers for purpose of practising the putting movement.and bodyposition for strokes with the putter (8) towards a goifball including a laserpointer (6) mountable in one or different angles on an adjustable holder (7) portioned on the clubshaft below the handgrip. The invention is DISTINCTIVELY CHARACTERISED by a basic unit placed on the ground (1) a stand (2) on which is positioned, partly a transparent plate (4) with two adjustable fields on one of the lengths (9) and partly a mirror (5).
A signal is emitted from light sensitive electronics mounted on the club (10) when the beam from the laserpointer (6) breaks against part of the adjustable fields (9) or emits a signal when the laserbeam hits the light sensitive electronics in the adjustable fields (9).
The mirror is positioned to be adjusted so that the player sees in the mirror (5) that the position of the eye is above the hitting area of the club-head.
