Hauptsächlich werden in Abhängigkeit von einem bestimmten Benutzerprofil die durch eine physikalische Resource zur Verfügung ge- stellten Funktionalitäten entsprechend den auf der Chipkarte gespeicherten Informationen eingeschränkt. Eine derartige Kontrollvorrichtung ist beispielsweise aus EP 0 818 722 AI bekannt.
