Abstract

Disclosed is an air flowing direction variable ventilating type footwear which is capable of pumping a fresh air into the interior thereof according to variation of season and also ejecting a contaminated air and moisture from the interior thereof to the outside. The ventilating type of footwear includes: a footwear sole (10) which forms a space portion (11) on the heel of the footwear, first and second inclined grooves (17, 18) and first and second circular grooves (12, 13), a 'T'-shaped straight line passage (14), a groove (16) connected to the straight line passage, and a bending passage (15); an air pump (20) which protrudedly forms first and second inclined pipe bodies on the bottom portion thereof; a first direction switching valve (3) which connects a straight line pipe body to the front portion thereof and the first inclined pipe body; a second direction switching valve (31) which connects a bending pipe body to the front portion thereof and second inclined pipe body.

Description

AIR FLOWING DIRECTION VARIABLE VENTILATING TYPE FOOTWEAR

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an air flowing direction variable

ventilating type footwear, and more particularly, to an air flowing direction

variable ventilating type footwear which is capable of pumping a fresh air

into the interior thereof according to variation of season and also ejecting

a contaminated air and moisture from the interior thereof to the outside,

such that it can maintain the interior thereof in clean and sair'tary states

and adjust the temperature of user's foot by seasons to be in an optimal

state.

2. Discussion of the Prior Art

Generally, a conventional ventilating type of footwear which can

ventilate the air within the footwear is classified into a first type which

can only absorb the air into the interior thereof and a second type which can

only eject the contaminated air in the interior thereof to the outside.

In more detail, in the hot summer season, since the first type of ventilating footwear supplies a fresh air into the interior thereof by a

pumping function of an air pumping device while walking, it can maintain the

user's foot in an agreeable state, but in the cold winter season, since it

directly provides the air from the outside to the user's foot, it can cause

the temperature of foot to be drastically decreased.

On the other hand, the second type of ventilating footwear, which can

eject the contaminated air within the interior thereof to tie outside,

generates a problem in that since the fresh air from the outside can not flow

to the interior of the footwear during the hot summer season, while user's

walking, he or she feels tight in the foot.

SUMMARY OF THE INTENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide an air flowing

direction variable ventilating type footwear which installs first and second

direction switching valves on an air pump, thus to freely YSLV a flowing

direction of a pumped air from the interior of the footwear to the outside or

from the outside to the interior of the footwear in accordance with seasons

or situations, such that it can maintain the interior thereof in clean and

sanitary states and adjust the temperature of user's foot to be in an optimal state.

To achieve this and other objects according to the present invention,

there is provided an air flowing direction variable ventilating type footwear

comprising: a footwear sole which forms a space portion on the heel of the

footwear, first and second inclined grooves each connected to the front

portion of the spacing portion, first and second circular grooves each

connected to the front sides of the first and second inclined grooves, a "T"-

shaped straight line passage connected to the first circular groove, a groove

connected to the straight line passage, and a bending passage connected to

the second circular groove! an air pump which protrudedly forms first and

second inclined pipe bodies on the bottom portion thereof; a first direction

switching valve which forms a first arrow shape groove on the upper surface

thereof and connects a straight line pipe body to the front portion thereof

and the first inclined pipe body to the rear portion thereof; a second

direction switching valve which forms a second arrow shape groove on the

upper surface thereof and connects a bending pipe body to the front portion

thereof and the second inclined pipe body to the rear portion thereof; and an

inner sole which forms first and second holes through which the first and

second direction switching valves are visible. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Other objects and aspects of the invention will become apparent from

the following description of embodiments with reference to the accompanying

drawings in which:

FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the construction of

an air flowing direction variable ventilating type footwear embodied in

accordance with the principles of the present invention; and

FIG. 2 is a view illustrating a use state of the air flowing direction

variable ventilating type footwear embodied in accordance with the principles

of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Hereinafter, an explanation on the construction and operation of an air

flowing direction variable ventilating type footwear embodied in accordance

with the principles of the present invention will be in detail discussed with

reference to accompanying drawings.

Referring to FIG. 1, there is provided an air flowing direction

variable ventilating type footwear embodied in accordance with the principles of the present invention. In construction, the ventilating type of footwear

includes a footwear sole 10, an air pump 20, first and second direction

switching valves 30 and 31, and an inner sole 50. In more detail, the

footwear sole 10 forms a space portion 11 on the heel of the footwear, first

and second inclined grooves 17 and 18 each connected to the front portion of

the spacing portion 11, first and second circular grooves 12 and 13 each

connected to the front sides of the first and second inclined grooves 17 and

18, a "T"- shaped straight line passage 14 connected to the first circular

groove 12, a groove 16 connected to the straight line passage 14, and a

bending passage 15 connected to the second circular groove 13. The air pump

20 protrudedly forms first and second inclined pipe bodies 34 and 35 on the

bottom portion thereof. The first direction switching valve 30 forms a first

arrow shape groove 70 on the upper surface thereof and connects a straight

line pipe body 32 to the front portion thereof and the first inclined pipe

body 34 to the rear portion thereof. The second direction switching valve 31

forms a second arrow shape groove 71 on the upper surface thereof and

connects a bending pipe body 33 to the front portion thereof and the second

inclined pipe body 35 to the rear portion thereof. The inner sole 50 forms

first and second holes 51 and 52 through which the first and second direction switching valves 30 and 31 are visible.

Now, an explanation of the operation and effect of the air flowing

direction variable ventilating type footwear embodied in accordance with the

principles of the present invention will be in detail discussed.

Since the air pump 20 in the ventilating type of footwear according to

the present invention is generally used with a conventional one, an

explanation of the internal structure thereof is omitted in the detailed

description of the present invention, and preferably, the air pump 20

typically installs a coil spring therein. Furthermore, the first and second

direction switching valves 30 and 31 adopt the principle of a check valve,

and if the plate on which the arrow shape groove on the direction switching

valve is formed is rotated, an air flowing direction is changed in the

opposite direction. For instance, as shown in FIG. 1, the first direction

switching valve 30 is adapted to supply the air within the air pumo 20 to the

interior of footwear, and the second direction switching valve 31 is adapted

to flow the air from the outside to the interior of the air pump 20 via the

bending pipe body 33. In other words, after the air from the outside flows to

the interior of the bending pipe body 33 in response to the pumping action of

the air pump 20, the air is filled with the air pump 20 via the second direction switching valve 31 and the second inclined pipe body 35. Next, the

air is passed through the first inclined pipe body 34 and the firs-: direction

switching valve 30 and is then ejected to the groove 16 via the straight line

pipe body 32. As a result, a fresh air from the outside is filled with the

interior of footwear. Under the state above, if the arrow direction on each

of the first and second direction switching valves 30 and 31 is turned to be

placed in the opposite direction, the contaminated air within the interior of

footwear is ejected to the outside through the opposite paths to those as

discussed above. Then, the upper end portion of the bending pipe body 33 is

passed through the interior of a side portion of uppers of footwear 100 and

is exposed to the upper portion of the side portion of uppers of footwear

100. As a result, the upper end portion of the bending pipe body 33 is placed

on a relative high position from the sole of the footwear, which prevents

rainwater or dusts on the road from flowing to the interior of footwear.

As discussed above, the first and second direction switching valves 30

and 31 are adapted to change the flowing direction of air from/to the

interior of footwear. As a result, in the summer season, the fresh air from

the outside is supplied to the interior of footwear, and to the contrary, in

the winter season, the contaminated air from the interior of footwear is ejected to the outside.

As mentioned above, the air flowing direction variable ven ilating type

footwear embodied in accordance with the principles of the present invention

can have a function of combining the first conventional type of ven ilating

footwear which can only absorb the air into the interior of footwear and the

second conventional type of ventilating footwear which can only eject the

contaminated air in the interior of footwear to the outside, such that it is

convenient to be used and provides an economical advantage to a user. In

other words, if the direction switching valves 30 and 31 are manipulated in

accordance with the seasons or the situations, a desired air ventilating

direction is determined. Moreover, the user manipulates, in a simple manner,

the arrow groove which is formed on the plate as the upper surface of the

direction switching valve by using a coin or his fingernail, through the

first and second holes 51 and 52 on the inner sole 50. Also, the manipulated

state can be visible to ordinary sight through the first and second holes 51

and 52, such that the ventilating type of footwear can be used in an easy

manner .

In addition, the air flowing direction variable ventilating type

footwear embodied in accordance with the principles of the present invention can supply the fresh air into the interior thereof and eject the contaminated

air in the interior thereof to the outside, such that it can fill .he

interior thereof with the fresh air to thereby remove an athlete's foot and a

bad smell of foot and adjust the direction switching valves to be placed in a

desired state in accordance with a seasonal situation or a user's intention

to thereby allow the temperature of the user's foot to be in an optimal

state.

Therefore, it should be understood that the present invention is not

limited to the particular embodiment disclosed herein as the best mode

contemplated for carrying out the present invention, but rather that the

present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments described in

this specification except as defined in the appended claims.

Claims

What Is Claimed Is:
1. .n air flowing direction variable ventilating type footwear,
comprising:
a footwear sole forming a space portion on the heel of the footwear,
first and second inclined grooves each connected to the front portion of said
spacing portion, first and second circular grooves each connected to the
front sides of said first and second inclined grooves, a "T"- shaped straight
line passage connected to said first circular groove, a groove connected to
said straight line passage, and a bending passage connected to said second
circular groove;
an air pump protrudedly forming first and second inclined pipe bodies
on the bottom portion thereof;
a first direction switching valve forming a first arrow shape groove on
the upper surface thereof and connecting a straight line pipe body to the
front portion thereof and said first inclined pipe body to the rear portion
thereof;
a second direction switching valve forming a second arrow shape groove
on the upper surface thereof and connecting a bending pipe body to the front portion thereof and said second inclined pipe body to the rear portion
thereof; and
an inner sole forming first and second holes through which said first
and second direction switching valves are visible.
