Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of medicine, more precisely to that of medical techniques, and can be used for determining the adequate exposure duration of a person to ultraviolet radiation. The device of the present invention comprises photo-receptors for measuring the biologically efficient intensity of the UV radiation as well as the reflection coefficient of the light by the skin. The device also includes a system comprising the appropriate exposure durations of a person to the UV radiation. The photo-receptors may consist of cameras provided with a light filter and with a photo-sensitive screen comprising strips which are graduated into corresponding measurable values. The photo-receptors may also consist of photo-converters for converting the UV radiation into an electric signal.
