Definitions
- the problem of the non-existent water supply section is solved by the ultrasound catheter (10) being inserted into an insertion sleeve (12) filled with ultrasound gel that is simple, sterile and inexpensive to manufacture Plastic is introduced into which a balloon (16) at the level of the ultrasound crystal can be filled with a mixture of water (18) and contrast medium via a second working channel (14).
- a balloon (16) at the level of the ultrasound crystal can be filled with a mixture of water (18) and contrast medium via a second working channel (14).
- This enables the tracheobronchial wall to be displayed analogously to the vessel walls and pathological processes in the wall itself and in the adjacent tissues to be recorded. Wall-infiltrating tumors and mediastinal lymph node metastases (to name just a few examples) are thus accessible to differentiated imaging.
- the expensive and non-sterilizable ultrasound catheter (10) which could only be used once in the vascular system without using the insertion sleeve, can be used several times, so that it can be used Bronchial kit from the insertion sleeve (12) according to the invention and the conventional ultrasound catheter (10) a simple, effective and cheap examination technique is available.

Abstract
