Abstract

The container formed by the folding of a substantially flat blank, consists of plane panels with equally plane edges projecting externally and obliquely relative to the panels proper at a predetermined angle so that they can be urged two by two against each other and which are mutually connected by a common rectilinear end edge forming a folding line. The invention is characterised in that each of the two free ends of the panels (1-4, 81-83, 91-94) located at the ends of the blank each have an edge (5-12, 84) projecting externally, parallel to the folding lines (15, 16 and 17) and forming with the panel proper (1-4, 81-83, 91-94) an angle substantially equal to that which is formed, with said panels (1-4, 81-83, 91-94), by the mutually connected edges (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 84), the two edges (5 and 12, 84) of the free ends being urged against each other in flush contour, by folding of the container in volume, along the folding lines (15-16-17).
