Abstract

La présente invention concerne un composteur à ordures permettant de décomposer des ordures de cuisine brutes. La décomposition est assurée, pendant le stockage de ces ordures brutes, par des germes tels que des bactéries. Le composteur considéré est constitué, d'une part d'un réceptacle (1) à ordures brutes comportant, dans sa partie supérieure un orifice d'introduction (5) des ordures brutes, dans sa partie inférieure un orifice de décharge (12), et en des points appropriés du réceptacle des orifices d'évacuation des mauvaises odeurs, et d'autre part d'un agitateur vertical en vis sans fin (14) remuant de façon circulaire dans le réceptacle les ordures brutes, grâce à une source motrice (20). Par construction, le rayon de la lame de la vis sans fin (16) diminue graduellement vers le haut, ce qui lui donne, de profil, une forme sensiblement conique.
