Abstract
Le clou endoprothétique est destiné à se loger dans une prothèse fémorale (5), et présente un corps (1) rectiligne et de section constante coïncidant avec celle du logement axial de ladite prothèse (5), se fixant à celle-ci avec la collaboration d'une vis d'expansion (7) placée axialement dans sa zone proximale, ledit clou présentant dans cette zone par une coupure diamétrale (4), et ayant de plus une clavette radiale (9) qui joue le rôle d'élément antirotation pour le clou lorsqu'il est logé dans la rainure ou ouverture latérale (10) de la prothèse (5). Un orifice diamétral (11) de la zone proximale du clou facilite l'éventuelle extraction de ce dernier, tandis qu'un ou plusieurs orifices inférieurs (12) permettent l'implantation de vis de blocage respectives (13) pour la solidarisation de la zone distale du clou au fémur.
