Abstract

The invention concerns a solar collector (1) comprising: a trough-shaped primary mirror (2) which is approximately parabolic in the plane vertical to its length and deflects the incident radiation onto a cylindrical absorber (3) which extends in the longitudinal direction of the primary mirror (2); and a secondary reflector (5) which reflects onto the absorber radiation already reflected by the primary mirror (2). The mid-point of the absorber (3) is shifted on the optical axis A of the primary mirror (2) from the focus of the primary mirror (2) towards the primary mirror (2), and the secondary reflector (5) consists of an involute section (51) and (optionally) a second reflector section (52) joining on thereto.
