Abstract

Window assembly for screening and lighting inner rooms. The object of the invention is on the one hand to sun-screen inner rooms and on the other hand to light inner rooms with an optimum light intensity. The light intensity may be regulated by means of sensors and a manual control, thus improving the physical and psychological well-being of the human being. The coloured lamps (7, 8) form a colour spectrum. The coloured lamps (8) protect against exposure to outer radiation. The coloured lamps (7) light the inner room. The light rays from the coloured lamps (7) hit the curved flat element (5) and are reflected into the inner room. In figure 2 is illustrated another solution that may be useful for very large surface windows. The design is similar to that in figure 1 but contains an additional cavity filled with a liquid (phosphorescent or the like). Electric pulses cause said liquid to shine at regular intervals. This window assembly offers a compact system to consumers, useful for inner rooms of dwelling and commercial buildings, cars, trains, aeroplanes, greenhouses, indoor gardens, and in future sun-screening devices.

Description

The invention relates to a window element for shielding and illuminating the interiors of buildings, vehicles and the like. Via the window opening, at least one transparent window surface being sealingly introduced into a frame inserted into the window opening.
Um den Lichteinfall in einen Raum zu beeinflussen oder eine Sichtabschirmuπg des Innenraumes durch dieIn order to influence the incidence of light in a room or a visual shielding of the interior through the
To make window surfaces, opaque curtains or curtains, fixed or adjustable shutters and finally also glass panes prepared in various ways are used. With such glass panes, for example, the light incident from the outside is polarized and thus the incidence of light is partially or completely ruled out, or the reflection, the light transmission and the transparency of the glass surfaces are influenced accordingly by the applied layers.
Such measures are too expensive for a mere visual shielding of the interior. On the other hand, sun visors, blinds and the like cut the field of view outwards, or the view from the inside, as with curtains, is completely covered.
Finally, the incidence of light, if it is needed to illuminate a room, is considerably reduced by curtains, curtains or blinds if they are not pushed aside. Especially in public buildings, commercial buildings, rooms with large window areas or in vehicles, the technical effort for such devices is high. They are difficult to handle and are therefore often seen as annoying.
In addition, it is necessary to illuminate the interior of buildings, vehicles and the like with artificial light, provided that in the dark or strong shielding of the window surface to the outside with insufficient light can be expected in the room. For this purpose, appropriate lights are installed in the interior, which is ultimately associated with a considerable installation effort.
The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a window element which, on the one hand, ensures a screen from outside to inside and at the same time does not darken the interior or even serves to illuminate it.
über die Fensteröffnung, wobei in einen in die Fensteröffnung engesetzten Rahmen mindestens eine durchsichtige Fensterflache dichtendAccording to the invention, the object is for a window element for shielding and illuminating the interior of buildings, vehicles and the like. Via the window opening, with at least one transparent window surface sealing in a frame inserted into the window opening
ERSATZBLAπ(REGEL26) eingebracht ist, in der Weise gelost, daß die durchsichtige Fensterflache ein zum Innenraum hin gewölbtes Flachenelement ist, dem an seiner konvexen Seite an dem Rahmen befestigte, schräg auf die Oberflache des gewölbten Flachenelements strahlende Leuchten zugeordnet sind.REPLACEMENT BLAπ (RULE 26) is introduced, solved in such a way that the transparent window surface is a flat element curved toward the interior, which is associated with lights attached to the convex side of the frame, radiating lights at an angle to the surface of the curved surface element.
Der Grundgedanke der Erfindung besteht mit anderen Worten darin, mit einer zum Innenraum gewölbten Scheibe durch in unmittelbarer Nahe auf diese in spitzem Winkel auftreffendes künstliches Licht eineIn other words, the basic idea of the invention consists in using a pane curved towards the interior by means of artificial light hitting it in the immediate vicinity at an acute angle
To create a light reflection surface which, on the one hand, creates indirect, large-area room lighting from the window surface, which in normal daylight also corresponds to the natural light source in the room, and on the other hand results in a visual shield towards the interior at the created reflection level. Such a window element can be manufactured with simple means. It is user-friendly in terms of maintenance, repair and handling and allows a variety of application options, for example for residential and office buildings or other public buildings, means of transport equipped with windows, winter garden or greenhouses. The lights used to illuminate the room via the curved window surface can be designed in many ways, for example as fluorescent tubes or as point lamps. They can be directed from one side or from two opposite sides or from all sides of the frame onto the curved flat element. Individual or a plurality of light sources can radiate onto the curved flat element. The lights can be switched on manually or automatically - depending on the brightness in the room - via sensors. The Light sources can also be designed to emit colored light.
Furthermore, in order to increase the reflection effect, its convex side can be partially or completely provided with a reflective but transparent coating or else be treated in another way, for example in order to achieve a light-scattering effect
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, additional color-tinting lights are located on the concave side of the curved flat element for further, in particular colored, shielding of the window surface on the outside. These color toning lights, which can also radiate white light, are also attached to the mutually facing inner surfaces of the frame.
Innenseite des Rahmens angeordneten, dichtend in den Rahmen eingebundenen äußeren bzw. inneren Fensterglasflache ausgebildet, wobei die zuvor beschriebenen Leuchten und das gewölbte lichtreflektierende Flachenelement staub- und feuchtigkeitsdicht in dem von den beiden Fensterglasflacheπ gebildeten Raum untergebracht sindIn a further embodiment of the invention, the window element is designed as a double window, each with an outer or inner window glass surface arranged in the region of the outside or inside of the frame, sealingly integrated into the frame, the luminaires described above and the curved light-reflecting flat element being dustproof and moisture-proof are housed in the space formed by the two Fensterglasflacheπ
Nach einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung befindet sich in dem zwischen der konkaven Seite des gewölbtenAccording to a further feature of the invention is located between the concave side of the domed
Dieser Hohlkörper ist,Flat element and the outer window glass surface formed a hollow body. This hollow body is

To increase the visual shielding effect, it is also possible, as shown in FIG. 1, to additionally arrange color-tinting lights 8 in the space between the outer window glass surface 2 and the concavely curved side of the transparent surface element 5. These tinting lights can also be switched independently of the lights 7 used for room lighting, so that in this case too, visual shielding from the outside is ensured. The light from the color toning lights 8 is not emitted into the interior. It goes without saying that light in different colors can also be used for the color toning lamps 8 - as with the lamps 7.
Beispielsweise kann das Medium 10 eine phosphoreszierende,2 shows a further embodiment of the present invention. The window element 1 is constructed as described in FIG. 1. In addition, however, in the space remaining between the concave side of the transparent, curved flat element 5 and the color-tinting lamps 8, a hollow body 6 made of transparent material covering the entire area between the frame parts 4a, 4b is arranged. The hollow body 6 is filled with a light-absorbing, colored medium 10. In addition, 6 shielding lights 10 are attached to one or more end faces of the hollow body 6, the light beam of which is preferably directed directly onto the medium 10. The hollow body 6 with the medium therein serves primarily to shield the sun's rays. Furthermore, it provides a visual shield, and finally special coloring or light effects can also be achieved. For example, the medium 10 can be a phosphorescent,
On the other hand, the medium 10 can also be an electrolytic solution connected to a power source (not shown) in order to achieve color changes or changes in the color intensity corresponding to the strength of the sunlight to be absorbed by ion conversion under the influence of the electric current.
Further modifications of the exemplary embodiments described are readily conceivable. For example, it is possible to dispense with the tinting lights in the embodiment explained with reference to the figure, and a further embodiment variant could also consist in dispensing with both the tinting lights and the hollow body with the shielding lights.
