Abstract

The seat according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a seat part (1) connected to a support (2) of which at least the area opposite said seat part is essentially spherical, the link between the seat part (1) and the support being obtained by means of a threaded rod (3) with the possible insertion of removable spacers (4). Application: as a seat for rest, relaxation or reeducational purposes.

Description

adjustable ergonomic seat.

The invention relates to an adjustable ergonomic seat permet¬ as among others sit resting on knees, to perform some or reeducation in this position in normal usage, etc.

A natural position of rest and relaxation consis¬ you to sit on the heels retaining support on the knees. However, in view of the morphology and the flexibility of the individual, this position is sou¬ wind difficult to take and keep.

The invention aims to create a seat for taking such a position and keep it comfortably, while being able to accommodate individuals of different sizes or different positions of the same individual, through a system of embedded setting.

For this purpose, the seat according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a seat connected to a sup¬ port with at least opposite said base region is substantially spherical, the connection between the seat and the support being carried by a threaded rod with interpo¬ possible sition removable spacers.

Thanks to the invention gives an extremely sim¬ seat ple and economic which, through its foundation, a re¬ pos comfortable to the user, while the rounded support allows various movements assouplis¬ ment , gymnastics, rehabilitation, etc. Adjusting the height of the support by means of spacers simple¬ ment threaded on a threaded rod linking allows, without complicating the seat nor affect its strength, adap¬ ter of the seat height to various individuals or diver¬ in attitudes or positions of the same individual. The device of the invention can be used supported on the knees or the normal position. The latter po¬ sition can be used for re-education, by exem¬ ple of the spine.

Advantageously, said base is profiled according to a for¬ me substantially concave.

Preferably, the threaded rod is screwed into a captive nut of the seat and in a threaded sleeve secured in the holder. The assembly is thus partially or to¬ zontally removable to occupy a reduced space for transportation or outside periods of utilisa¬ tion.

In one embodiment of the invention, the carrier is spherical with the exception of its side facing the as¬ located, which is substantially flat and on which che débou¬ the fastening means on the seat, e.g. the ex¬ Tremite the threaded sleeve. The spherical support per¬ sets with optimal aesthetics, to obtain a maximum mobili¬ seat side.

The invention will be better understood on reading the following descrip¬ tion with reference to the accompanying drawings wherein:

Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of a seat according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention will, in the course of assembly; Figure 2 is a schematic elevational view, partly in section, of the seat support of Figure 1; Figure 3 is a schematic elevational view, partly in section, of the seat of Figure 1, and Figure 4 is a schematic view of the seat plane of the fi¬ gure 3. In the example shown in Figure 1, the seat according to the invention is constituted by a profiled seat 1 re¬ relation to a substantially spherical support 2 by a threaded rod 3, with or without interposition of spacers 4.

The support 2 consists of a ball 5, one face is flat (Figure 2). A threaded bush 6 embedded in the ball 2, opens into the plane face 5 and rece¬ can see the threaded rod 3 connected to the seat 1.

The seat 1 (Figures 3 and 4) is formed of molded material at a suitable curved shape, a nut 7 being embedded in the underside of the seat portion 1 and receiving the threaded ti¬ ge 3.

To adjust the height from the ground of the seat 1, can be inserted between the seat 1 and the support 2 one or more annular spacers 8, or the ball screw 2 directly by omitting the spacers 8.

The threaded rod 3 may be replaced by a screw whose head is embedded in the seat 1.

The seat 1 can be made for example of syn¬ thetic material molded, compressed wood. The ball 2 can be wood.
