Abstract

Une machine hydraulique rotative comprend un rotor excentrique (6) pourvu de fentes (14) dans lesquelles des ailettes (12) coulissent radialement de façon à suivre la surface interne d'un stator (2) à l'intérieur duquel tourne le rotor. Des joints d'extrémité étanches placés entre les ailettes et la surface du stator comportent des segments oscillants (30) qui suivent le contour de la surface du stator et qui présentent des surfaces d'appui hydrostatiques (54, 56) sur leurs faces interne et externe. Chaque ailette comporte des surfaces d'appui hydrostatiques (80, 82) sur ses faces à l'intérieur des fentes du rotor et ces faces présentent également des zones radialement espacées (70, 72) qui communiquent avec les chambres du fluide de part et d'autre de l'ailette, afin d'équilibrer l'ailette par rapport aux différences de pressions entre les chambres. Les joints d'extrémité étanches du rotor comprennent des plaques divisées en segments (90') pourvues de surfaces d'appui hydrostatiques (108, 110) et de zones radialement espacées (118, 120) qui communiquent avec les côtés opposés de chaque plaque, afin d'équilibrer les forces latérales qui s'exercent sur les plaques. Une configuration préférée de ladite machine comprend plusieurs rotors (6a, 6b, 6c) se trouvant à différentes phases de façon à limiter les charges de flexion. Toutes ces mesures servent à maintenir des espaces libres plus uniformes et à réduire les pertes de puissance dues aux fuites.
