Abstract

Impure grain separator for moving machines such as a combine harvester and/or a harvester-gin which operates by suction, depression created by the helix (6) in the tube (4).

Description

Impure grain separator for mobile machine such as combine and / or harvester.

The beaten or shelled cereal separated from the straw is made up of a set containing, for example, wheat, chaff, bits of straw and otons (broken unbroken ears). We call it impure wheat. This product in existing machines is brought on a succession of ventilated sieves, to separate the impurities from the grain called out: pure.

This archaic process has innumerable drawbacks. It is complicated, bulky and subject to clogging in wet crops and the saccade movement of the sieves vibrates the machine.

These sieves in addition are very sensitive to unevenness of the earth and cause grain losses. The procedures for leveling the screens are complicated and expensive.

We have remedied these drawbacks, indeed slopes and slopes have no influence on our system, the movement of the assembly is rotary, regular and slow, clogging is impossible. The size is reduced by 300% and we separate by suction: modern and efficient process.

The impure grain arrives via the screw (1) and passes through the orifice (2) in the rotary separator (3). It consists of a cylinder (4) which is part of the machine structure.

In this cylinder, opposite side to the entry of the material, is maintained a planetary reducer (5). The input axis supports a propeller (6) which rotates at high speed and the output axis rotates slowly and actuates a set cylindrical (3).

This consists of a sheet metal part (7) lined inside profiles (8) which by their rotation raise the impure grain and let it fall. The vacuum created by the fan (6) sucks in the low density impurities and sends them through the orifice (9). The impure grain removed from the glitter enters by the inclination of the profiles (8) on a grid (10) made of elements whose space is calibrated for harvesting. The grain passes through the slots and falls through the hole (13) in the screw (11) which catches it towards the hopper. The heavy and bulky otons progress towards the end of the grid (10) thanks to the spiral (12) and fall on the straw beater which reintroduces them to the mixer by the outlet (15).

At the top of the rotary screen (10) we installed a rotary brush (14) which removes impurities obstructing the spaces of the screen (10).

Of course various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art to the device which has just been described solely by way of non-limiting example without departing from the scope of the invention.

1. Impure grain separator for a mobile machine such as a combine harvester and / or a combine harvester that works by suction, vacuum created by the propeller (6) in the tube (4).
2. Separator described in 1, the assembly (3) of which has a rotary movement and is furnished within inclined profiles (8) and spirals (12).
3. Separator, described in 1, the structure of which is pierced by a material inlet orifice (2) opposite the propeller (6).
4. Impure grain separator impure in 1,2,3, the grain outlet (13) of which opens into the worm (11)
5. Separator described in 1,2,3,4 whose grid (10) has different sizes and spaces.
