Abstract

El método permite estimar la elasticidad de sólidos blandos a partir del tiempo de vuelo de la onda entre los sensores. El equipo es portable y de bajo costo.The invention described comprises a method and equipment for surface wave elastography, which allows estimating the elasticity of soft solids in a non-destructive way. The equipment comprises a linear arrangement of vibration sensors that are arranged on the surface of the medium that allow recording the displacement of a low frequency wave excited from the surface by an external vibrator normally acting on the surface. The method allows estimating the elasticity of soft solids from the time of flight of the wave between the sensors. The equipment is portable and low cost.
