Abstract
The present invention is a new and distinct variety of Chrysanthemum with a medium size bloom and Indian yellow color.
Description
This is a continuation of application Ser. No. 623,096, filed June 21, 1984.
The present invention comprises a new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant which is a cross of unknown parents. The invention was discovered by Martinus Van Der Jagt in March, 1982 at Ter Aar, Holland. The invention has been asexually reproduced by cuttings at the same location. The new cultivar has been found to retain its distinctive characteristics through successive propagations.
The present invention of a new and distinct variety of Chrysanthemum is shown in the accompanying drawings, the color being as nearly true as possible with color photographs of this type.
Sheet 3 shows the foliage and stem of the new cultivar.
This new variety of Chrysanthemum is of the botanical classification Chrysanthemum morifolium, named `Yellow Repin`. When grown in the vicinity of Ter Aar, Holland, it has a response time of approximately 9 weeks. This new variety produces medium sized bright Indian yellow blooms with a green yellow center having a three week permanence. This new variety of Chrysanthemum has been found to retain its distinctive characteristics throughout successive propagations and may be grown year round under greenhouse conditions.

Tonality from a distance.--Yellow single, well filled. A rather big center.
