the present variety of dwarf peach treewas originated by me in my aforesaid experimental nursery and orchard as on F cross between the Empress dwarf peach (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 2,533) as the seed parent, and the Bonanza dwarf peach (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 2,213) as the pollen parent.
Asexual reproduction of the varietyUpon recognition by me of the novel and distinctive characteristics of the present variety of dwarf peach tree, I asexually reproduced it by budding on mature orchard trees in my said experimental orchard. Such reproductions, in maturity, ran true to the original tree in all respects.
