PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE OR. ARTICLE OF ANALOGOUS NATURE To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Julian G. Samuels, a citi- Zen of the United States, residing at 6371 Waterman Avenue, in the city of St. Louis and State of Missouri, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe or Article of Analogous Nature, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the accompanying drawing Figure 1 is a view in plan, of a shoe, showing my new design, the regular rows of stitching around the cut-outs in the forepart being omitted, and Fig. 2 is a view in perspective.

The dominant feature of my design resides in the ornamental effect produced by a series of curvilinear, triangular cut-outs having one ceratoid and two ramphoid cusps disposed symmetrically in the forepart and tongue of the shoe and in an imitation collar, located at each side of the shoe bordering the blucher wing and a portion of the top edge, and then extending downwardly generally towards its point of commencement in an imitation foxing, said cut-outs in said tongue, imitation collar and foxing being associated with pin perforations.

The ornamental design for a shoe or article of analogous nature, substantially as shown and described.
