FIG. 2 is a fragmentary front elevational view thereof, from the boxed area in FIG. 1.
FIG. 3 is an enlarged fragmentary front elevational view thereof from the boxed area in FIG. 2.
FIG. 4 is an enlarged fragmentary front elevation view thereof, and includes a line and an arrow along A-A; and,
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A from FIG. 4 thereof. The cross-sectional view taken in the opposite direction of the direction of line A-A is a mirror image.
The tire tread wear indicator is used for determining the wear of a tire and roughly resembles an eye, pupil and eyebrow (visible from FIG. 4). As the tire wears, and as evident from the relative depths of FIG. 5, the opening resembling the eye (visible from FIG. 4) disappears, leaving behind the openings resembling the pupil and eyebrow (visible from FIG. 4). And, after further wear, then the opening resembling the pupil (visible from FIG. 4) disappears, leaving behind the opening resembling the eyebrow (visible from FIG. 4). The opening resembling the eyebrow (visible from FIG. 4) is substantially the same depth. In the drawings, the broken lines showing of a tire depict environmental subject matter and form no part of the claimed design. The line A-A and related arrows depict the cross-sectional view forms no part of the design.
