DESIGN FOR A CORNER-PIECE FOR COFFINS AND GASKETS.
Application filed September 11, 1914. Serial No. 861,317.
, ner-Piece for Collins and Caskets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing,forming a part hereof.
In the drawing, Figures 1, 2 and 3 are, respectively, side and front elevations and top plan view of my design for a corner piece for cofiins and caskets.
This design of corner piece for coffins comprises angularly arranged faces having a central embossed figure l at the angle thereof, and ridges along the side edges of the corner piece following in a general way the outline of the central figure. This cen tral figure includes a spherical boss 2 at the lower 'end of the corner piece, an elongated ovoid convex protuberance 3 above the boss 2 and merging into the top thereof, and a I knob 4 above the upper end of the protuber- Specification for Design.

ance 3, the boss 2 being of greater diameter than the greatest transverse dimension of the protuberance 3, and the knob 4; being of less diameter than the greatest transverse dimension of the protuberance 3. The spherical boss together with the ovoid protuberance have the appearance of being connected at 5 by a neck, the surface of which merges into the surfaces of said boss and protuberance, and the protuberance 3 and the knob 4 have the appearance of being separated by a shallow depression.

The ornamental design for a corner piece for cofiins and caskets, substantially as shown and described.
